Female mage. Then, depending on how many mage backgrounds there are (I'm hoping for a Circle mage background and an apostate background) then a female mage again.
Then some more mages. Maybe a rogue or two.

One good thing I can say about not having race selection is that I don't have to worry about choosing between my favourite race (dwarf) and my favourite class.

I play a 2h warrior in both DA:O and DA:2, so I'm thinking about mixing it up and playing a dual daggers rogue in 3, with the hope that trap making and, more importantly, trap placing will be making a return

I'd also like to be able to deal with enemy traps and locks myself, and be able to stealth-scout and party lead myself, instead of letting a companion rogue do it all for me. I always lead with Leliana in DA:O, so I can catch traps instead of having Alistair blunder over them. It'd be fun to do that with my own character, for a change

I will probably play all the classes at least once but for my first I'll probably be a rogue. My first Warden was a warrior and my first Hawke was a mage, so having my first Inquisitor as a rogue makes sense.

DAO - Rogue

so I think I'll try Warrior

I'm never really a mage type fan, they're always so squishy up front

Thinking that I may want 3 characters, 1 of every class to import into DA3. Than maybe have another DA3 playthough with another warrior but with no import. Depends on how good the game is.

Female rogue! I always play a female rogue first and my first play-through is always my canon play-through... Its going to be kind of strange though, what with all the hero's being human, female and rogues... Oh well.

Let's see, my "main" playthrough has a male berserking demon elf from the city. My DA2 has a female Hawke named Raven...heh. So I guess this time I'll have...an androgynous warrior templar.

I always play female rogue myself (dual-wielding) so that's the way I'll go with DA3 as well.

I plan to play them all, but my first will be the same as for the first two games: a rogue with a bow.

First playthrough will be Mage, he'll be imported from my Mage Warden/Mage Hawke. I'll be going for full Mage freedom again. Should be interesting.
