Female mage first, then male warrior.
What race, gender, appearance, and class of character do you plan to play in DA:I?

How about female Arcane Warrior?

I always play as a female. It's the only gender i can identify with. (I couldn't finish The Witcher because of this).
To the point though. I will play through each class available but I will start as a mage.

I don't know what class system we're going to have in DAI, but I hope we can create dual class characters because I'd love to go with a rogue-warrior combo in medium armor dual wielding shortswords and using stealth and dirty tricks on the battlefield.
Like Bronn in the Game of Thrones series.

like the woldan said. I want something that I can like dual class, I like a backstabbing rogue, but I like to hang back and shoot like a ranger. I think it would be cool if you could dual class, like a mage/rogue.

If they bring it back, a dual-wield warrior. If they don't... well, I guess I could settle for sword and board.

I have never played as a mage all the way through a Dragon Age game before, so I'll probably choose mage this time around.

I never thought that a medieval fantasy series might show the best CGI explosion in TV history.
And the scene with Bronn dueling the Knight is a perfect example of why I prefer a rogue-ish character over a pure fighter- I'm not saying one is better than the other, IMO its just more entertaining to play a cunning scoundrel.

Ill play them all but my main will likely be a rogue. I loves me some lock and pocket picking.

I always play a male rogue first. Than I'll play a male mage, continuing off of my female warrior warden and male rogue champion.

Probably a male warrior since I've played a rogue the last couple times in DA2, then a mage.

I will most likely play them all (more than once) eventually, but the first playthrough will inevitably be played as a Rogue or a Mage. Which, however, I know not.

Hopefully dwarf warrior or rogue. If I'm forced to be a human...then I'll be mage simply for the irony of having a mage leading the Inquisition.

An attack orientated warrior, easily the best class.
My party usually consists of a warrior, tank, healing mage and a attack mage. Though in DA2 varric replaced the attack mage.

Well, I played a warrior in my first DA:O playthrough, and a rogue in my first DAII playthrough (both female)...so I might as well go full circle and play a mage on the first run through of DAII. I've been thinking I might actually be decent at playing a healer anyway.

I want them to allow dual wield warriors and a more diverse/developed archery system. Archery in both games always felt a bit shallow or less supported by the specs.

Female mage was my first class for both DA:O and DA2, so will likely stick with that for my first time through DA:I.

My favorite character to play is always an archer, so I might start with that. But it depends on who the LIs are. I would romance a mage with my handsome devilish archer rogue. But I would romance a studly templar type *cough cough* with a bright-eyed mage type.
Generally speaking, I don't play warriors because their movements are too slow and their outfits are bulky.
Hope we have a lovely CC to go with our fresh new engine!

Gonna play as a warior again. Unless they bring the dual wielding aspect back, I'm gonna stick with the sword & shield tanky tanky affair. I enjoyed the two handed gameplay in DA2, but it wasn't the same.

Since this thread has been around a while, I don't know if I had already posted in here. Just in case I haven't, I'll play a Male Mage first, as always if the class is available. :-)

I always like to play a Female Mage when first starting a game. Ill try to focus on blood magic this time as well.
