Ok I haven't been on the forums in like a month and a half. But in DA3 isn't the only playable race human? Or is this just a " what if" thread.
What race, gender, appearance, and class of character do you plan to play in DA:I?

Its been confirmed that humans, elves, and dwarves are all playable races in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Confirmation came the other day from Bioware and Game Informer.

It really depends on which background seems the most interesting to me when I create my character. But I'll probably do:
Dwarf, female, rogue, blonde hair, blue eyes.

Elf, Male,
Class priority goes: Arcane Warrior Mage, Dual Wield Warrior, then Dual Wield Rogue.
Mage is my first pick, but only if there's a hybrid melee build like in Origins.
Otherwise, unless dual wielding Warrior comes back and I get a way to dual wield swords like a dervish instead of daggers like an assassin, then I'll have to settle for Rogue.

Male, Dwarf, Warrior.
Though I really wish DA would get away from the MMO "trinity" and expand things a bit.

I think they're sticking with the trinity instead of going for things that can be represented through specializations.

The way I usually do it is to make up a character for each origin, class and gender. And then start playing them in alphabetical order.

Thats an interesting way to go about it.

My first playthrough is always a human female sword and shield warrior so I'll probably stick with that. I'm also keen to do an elven archer.

I played an Elf Mage Warden, and Mage Hawke the first go around. I did go through again on DA2 as an Archer Rogue Hawke which was fun actually. I think I'm going to be going through the character creation screen for a long while, through Human and Elf features but definitely Mage.

Female Human Mage with Asian characteristics, green eyes. And then a lady dwarf warrior and probably a male elven rouge

I'm working on setting up a very anti-mage world then going to play a human female mage first in DA3.
Olivia, a Human Noble who annuled the circle, talked Alistair into doing the ritual with Morrigan, married Alistair and ruled beside him, but then she got jealous and went after Morrigan to kill her. Then importing that into DA2, I'm doing a very ruthless mercenary Violet Hawke who I'm playing as she was much closer to Carver than Bethany, and especially after Carver's death she just really started to more hate Bethany for ruining all of their lives. Siding with Templars every chance, then at the end, with all that's happened she lets Meredith kill Bethany because she's just tired of mages and the trouble they cause.
Heh, so sounds great fun to then play a human female mage after all that

Hah, might try to create the Thedosian equivalent of Kim Possible's Shego.

I'm still holding out for a Qunari option before I make up my mind for certain. Something about a dwarf female warrior seems like a good idea at the moment though. Probably an elf mage for second playthrough as I only played a human mage in DA:O.
Though if dwarf mage is an option I might have to reconsider... After all, there have been a few hints that they might get their magic back.

•Dwarven rogue assassin
•Pro-templar blood mage (human)
Those two are gonna have to duke it out and the winner will be my first playthrough character. I'll eventually go through the game as every race, but only after those two playthroughs.
