I plan on making a male, human, warrior siding with the Mage's. I like Mages. Then in the second round of gameplay I will do a male, human, warrior siding with Mage's. But this time I will be mean to them! >

I'm gonna play a male elven mage for my first playthrough. I'm hoping Cassandra is romanceable, so I can see how far the pointy-eared robe gets with her.

Played a Human Rogue in DAO, tried too in DA2 but it just did not seem right considering the story; so I played a mage.

I always play females and when it comes to DAI, that will be no diffrent. As for class considering what happened in DA2 and what seems to be happening in DAI, I'll more then likely play a mage.

Even though I'll always be a dalish mage in origins (I modded the game to allow it) I think I might go dwarven rouge for Inquisition. We'll see.

I'm fairly sure my first character will be an male elven mage. Beyond that I'm fairly sure I'll use most of the race and classes eventually. Though I have to admit I may hold off on the dwarf option till much later on, unless they make some very interesting drawf exclusive options (romances for example).

I wanted to do an all mage playthrough, but mages in DAO are so..bleh comapred to DA2 mages.

Also like to mix things up, see what happenes.

I'm a bit curious, why do you dislike Dalish? Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean anything offensive, just a bit curious lol I'm not so overly fond of Dalish myself, but I don't really dislike them either lol They seems ok to me, a bit boring though, but not so bad that I would dislike them. I just found City Elf and their drive for freedom more interesting.

Right now, I assume they will let us play Human, elf, and Dwarf, so my characters will be an elf mage, a Dwarf warrior (two hand), human warrior (sword and shield), Elf Rogue (archer) and Human rogue (melee) lol If DA:I is good, I might finish that list xD

I've actually become rather anti-dalish myself thanks to DA2's terrible portrayal of them. Well, to be more precise, I've become anti-Sabrae (sp?) because, while they hadn't necessarily been complete d*cks to Duncan in DAO due to him being a Warden, they behaved like complete A-holes in DA2. Especially when the other Dalish clan in DAO were much more civil by comparison. They were handled very poorly in DA2 as far as I'm concerned. Racial tensions are one thing, behaving like bigoted jerks is something else entirely.

Same reason everyone is anti-mage, mages are dangerous.

But the dwarves are resistan to magic and the skies breaking are kind of a "surface problem". How does a dwarf get enough exposure to mages to make of it his/her personal crusade?
No offense, I'm actually curious on how you'll treat it.

Honestly, I'll need to learn more about the game and the protagonists' potential backgrounds before I work out that detail.

I think my class will depend on the background of the race.
I really want to be a barbarian human if it's possible.

In DA:O my human noble was a warrior, in DA2 Hawke was a mage and so I think I'll play someone who is a rogue.

Though I didn't like the rogue class much in origins or at all in DA2, so if I don't like it in DA:I I'll probably be a Human mage again.
