Well in Origins my character was Human Female warrior who became Queen of Feralden, Id say her disappearance comes down to finding a cure for the taint so she can bear an heir to the throne.

My Hawke is also Female but a Rogue who fell in love with the sweet elf Merril, she end up siding with the mages because of Merril and Bethany only to be betrayed by the Archmage and left to end Merridith oppression on the mages alone. The Mage and Templar war that started after wasnt her intentions when ending Merridiths oppression, it was a sour after affect that happen leaving Hawke with no other choice but to abandon the remains of Kirkwall.

Assuming the Elfs art from DA2 stays the same my Inquistor will be a Elf but I still have yet to decide the fate of their class. If Qunari(as in their peoples race) are added as a playable option than my character will be that. Simple reason they left the Qun seeing it no better than the humans Chantry narrow minded views.

Like DA:O, several combinations of race, gender, and class.

Human Warrior first, like I did in DA:O and DA2. I rolled a male in Origins and a female in DA2 first time through, so still undecided on gender, probably will boil down to which VA I prefer. Speaking of which, I still have to finish my 10th and final character on DA2.

in origins i was a male dwarf commoner rogue, was in a relationship with leliana,and is still(presumably) alive doing...something.

my hawke was a female mage who was with Anders until the 'incident' and broke things off with him, but not killing him, and fled kirkwall with everyone else save sebastian and carver.

as for DAI the only thing i am sure of is that i will be a male warrior.If qunari are confirmed as a race that is what i will be. If not probably an elf since i haven't done one in my canon yet, or a dwarf again.

on a side note, i did not preform the dark ritual and i wonder what impact that will have.

Depends on the amount of reactivity to my racial/class type. First character will definitely be an Elf Mage. Side note, I performed the dark ritual without any hesitations or coerced Alister, the boy needed some variety.

See here's the thing about me, I'm a 6'0", 240lb man of mixed race. I'm too tall to RP a Dwarf and I'm too heavy to RP an Elf. I know I could just pretend to be someone when I play, but when I play games like Dragon Age, I like to stay close to who I am in real life. RP is easier that way.

So I'll be playing as a Human Male Warrior (or Arcane Warrior if that option returns).

I plan to play this game out. Usually, getting a platinum trophy requires extensive game/roleplay anyway, so there's that. I'm a completionist, what can I say. I shall be all. But first, I will ALWAYS start out as a human female rogue with blonde hair. Because... Obviously. But yeah...

So, just saw those dwarves in that new video, yup dwarf is where it's at. Probably a rogue as that is clearly the best class. For appearance well if you can see any face instead of straight up beard it'll probably be a smaller beard in disguise.
