Lesbian magic-user, something artificial and not typical human-centric would be cool, but in lack of that will it typically be human
What race, gender, appearance, and class of character do you plan to play in DA:I?

I plan to play a male Elf, Dalish if possible. The class depends on what we can use with each. If we finally get a... blank... ing spear for fighter class I'm going to be that. If not then I'll be a dual ax wielding rogue. And hopefully I can be tall too.

Male Elven Rogue, and if it's possible CITY ELF REPRESENT!

depends, i would like to play an elven warrior with dual wielding, much like i did in origins, but if they go for the same warrior class system they did in DA 2 ( no dual wielding) i'll probably go for rogue. and there's also the thing that in DA 2 the entire game seemed tailored for playing a mage character ( in my opinion) so if that's the case with DA: I, i'll probably go for a mage.
for personality i'll go for a cross between noble( helping the poor etc. ) and do what must be done. i have this rule in rpgs that i never kill anyone unless i have to, because they might give me a quest later on, so i'll put a bunch of points in the cunning stat if that's changed to be more like it was in origins.

1.) female elven mage
2.) female human rogue
And if the game is really good I'll do a 3rd playthrough with a male, sociopathic bloodmage and romance Cullen, just because I'm evil.

I will probably play all that are available to see how the world responds to the different races. But I primarily play a human Rogue or Mage.

I'll probably play as a female rogue elf first. My first ever playthrough was as such, and it was my favorite, to this day.
After that? Female human mage, and then male rogue elf.
I never played as a warrior. No idea why.

Is there an Amell mage? If not Elf thief male or female whichever looks best. If the flea on a hot plate jumps are still around then a boring sword and board human.

I hope we don't have another Amell.

First character: a female elven mage. Different appearance to my female elf mage Warden, so probably not the dark skin/dark short hair/pointy face combo, especially seeing as that was roughly my Hawke's look too. Inquisitor'll also go for a different magic style, so no lightning battlemage, depends on the spells available. Personality-wise, probably cold and ruthless, unlike my diplomatic Warden and eccentric Hawke. Probably bi, seeing as I don't know the LI yet, or which I'll like the most.
After that, probably:
-female elf rogue
-female human warrior
-female dwarf rogue
-female human mage
-male elf/human mage
-female dwarf warrior
-female elf warrior
So many combinations! *cries*

Female Dwarf, warrior or rogue, though if they allow mages that could be fun too even though I know dwarves can't be mages I would love to play one ^^;

Starting with male dwarf warrior as always, may be followed by human or elven blood mage.

Female, elf, mage only - like in every DA game.
Maybe roll a male mage if any of their potential female romances prove to be interesting and intriguing characters to spend closer time with.

Guess the developers never read the Sacketts. When it comes to saving the day with mounts, in a series, cousins rule. As to what to play as again whatever strikes my fancy. I've had a couple of saves die by corruption, don't remember what they were.

Dragon Age isn't the Sacketts, though. It's about all of Thedas, not just one family. Plus, mounts weren't introduced till this game. =/

Yep, hopefully I can get the Antivan Crows to join my Inquisition. Then a human female Bloodmage headed straight to Tevinter.

FEMALE WARRIOR DWARF! or a male human mage...I love to play as mages, but after my playthrough of a dwarf in Origins, I've fallen in love with the dwarvenkind.
