My first will probably be a female elven mage. You can't get much more hated than an elven mage, which will make gaining respect more rewarding. She'll probably be more persuasive and actually try to earn her position, rather than force people to respect her, even if it is a struggle. Her personality will probably be diplomatic (during important events, like trying to recruit new members or gain respect) and more jokey and charming when just talking with companions or doing side quests.

My second will probably be a male human or dwarven warrior who will try to take everything by force. More of a "ends justify means" type of guy. Strong leader, but more feared than respected. He'll probably end up alienating most of his friends, though.

Male Dwarven warrior. I kind of want to go for the whole "prim and proper dwarf" personality just to see how Varric reacts.

I always play as a female since I can't identify with a male Player Character. (This is why I never finished TW2). I will play through the game with all classes, but my first playthrough will probably be a mage. I will play the game as a human and an elf. Probably as an elf first. However since I don't know enough about who my companions will actually be or what their likes and dislikes are, or who is romancable.......this is subject to change at any time.

But with out a doubt not going to be a human first time around.

I'm thinking either Dwarf Warrior or Elven Mage

I think it's a bit early for me to be specific about race, but more than likely a Female Rogue of some sort, either Elven or Human. Alot depends on how much customization we can do and how the weapons look on them.

Since I was a human mage in both previous games, I'll either be making an elf or dwarf non-mage Inquisitor. Most likely male if elf, female if dwarf. Leaning towards rogue, currently, but warrior's also good.

Though if they add Qunari as a playable race I'll probably play nothing but.

I've decided my canon is going to be a male elven rogue, probably an archer. He'll have a Dalish background, in my headcanon if not available in game. He'll be sympathetic to mages. He'll be following after a human mage Warden and a militant mage Hawke.

I'm actually not certain, I was going to play as a human female mage, but then I saw those elf headmorphs (both male and female) and now I just don't know.

Human 2h warrior, what I'm boring.
She'll be following a rogue cousland and a pro mage warrior hawk. (in my head anyway DA:1 saves are on the ps3, DA:2 are on the pc and DA:I will be on ps4)

I would like to say this, I will probably try to play under each race if it actually makes a difference like they say it will. I will leave that to be judge with my Female Elf mage that will try to bring peace back to the land, because I also play my first character as a good person than I play again making the bad choices/ opposite decisions to make it seem different. As for the romance for the character i will romance, it will depend on the likable characters that my character can hit on.

I sorta hope race we pick limits our options on who we can romance or makes it more challenging for us to romance said character because he/she has a grudge to our kind.

I'll play a female elf for sure at first. And probably mage with a healing/supportive role.

My favourtie DAO character was a female Dalish Elf rogue, while my favourtie Hawke was a female Spirit Healer/Force mage. So a mix of both for DAI

I'm holding out hope for a qunari option! If they do offer qunari, I wanna try out a female qunari mage cause if there were a hardmode for the story, that'd be it. But in case they don't, I have a female elf mage or male elf warrior in mind.

Right now I'm thinking .. Female Human Mage, Female Dwarf Warrior and Female Elf Rogue.

Though this could get shuffled around race-wise depending on which seems more interesting to me at the time. I'll definitely be doing all female (especially if LI's are all bi again) and a mage as first play through.
