Female Dalish Mage, Male Dalish Rogue, Female Qunari Mage, and Female Qunari Rogue. (Hm, I'm unsure as whether I should say Kossith or Qunari. I'm not sure if the playable Qunari is a follower of the Qun or not.)
Qunari. Drop "Kossith" entirely. Its been clarified over and over that they'll be using the term "Qunari" and that thats the long and short.

<.< I wonder why they even used the term in the books at all if they weren't going to use it.

Oh, they'll probably still use it, they're just tired of fans arguing over terminology. Anytime its brought up, they clarify that the qunari are just that. Qunari. Thats what they are and thats what they should be called. Kossith is fine, but it apparently makes less sense and some folks have used their knowledge of the term kossith as a way to put down fans that prefer to just stick to the term qunari.
Honestly, I'm tired of the arguing I've seen on the boards too. I wish it'd just be qunari and that be the end of it.

I don't see how people can be confused. Qunari is what they are called based on their religion, which is the Qun. It's like calling someone a Templar based on their religion and service to the Maker. I can just refer to Kossith as Qunari in the forums though, to reduce arguments. I'll keep the correct terms in my mind, though.

Thats just it though. The race you recognize as "kossith" are called qunari. Like, thats actually the appropriate name for the race. When the game presents the four races to choose from for the Inquisitor, it will be human, elf, dwarf, and qunari. "Kossith" is an archaic term that...you know lemme get quotes before I look like a goof, ![]()
Following are David Gaider quotes from the BSN-
Male human warrior, hopefully dual wielding
Male human warrior, hopefully dual wielding
I don't believe we've heard anything yet about dual wielding being available to warriors.
Elf, Female, either a rogue or a mage. I haven't quite decided yet. From what I have heard the dev's say, a mage Inquisitor will be... very different no matter what your race, so I might save that one for my human playthrough. Which will probably be AFTER my Qunari Inquisitor.
I plan to play all of them at one point. All female.

Oh, I plan to.

Many pictures.
Dwarven rogue, elven mage, or qunari mage
I haven't decided on gender or appearance.
Many pictures.
I will probably post them all on my tumblr. =p Just like how I did for my latest Hawke and my last two Wardens.

Hah. If I remember to, I will. This is my first time on the Bioware forums since the age of KOTOR.

Then welcome back! Stick around this time. ![]()
Is that a thing? Well, nah. Most of my decision making will be when I have the game. For now its just an assumption of what I'm going with.
A human, male warrior made in my own image... as is tradition for me in every rpg
Yeah, I tend to try and make characters look like myself.
For DA:I, I was going to go for a female rogue elf.
But since they can only be Dalish, I'm not sure whether I will stick with that or go qunari mage or human warrior.
Gonna definitely play a qunari female mage. Hopefully blood mage is a specialization. And hopefully the female voice doesn't sound.. bad.
Might also play an elven female rogue, or a male human warrior.
Way too many choices ![]()

That reminds me, I really want to hear the female voice/s.
I plan on giving them all a shot.
Though I'll probably roll a human the most. Will we be able to play as Kossith or dwarves? I'm a tad behind on the DA:I news so I don't know if there was a confirmation on these. If we can, I'll likely play them as much as a human. I like warriors and rogues best. My elves are usually mages, though sometimes a rogue.

Dwarves and Qunari are available as choices along with Elves and Humans.
