Warrior first, Mage second.

I've finished both DA:O and DA 2 at least once with each class, so I'll probably do the same for Inquisition. With that said, I will probably play as a mage first.

Usually I play as a warrior or rogue first, so this time I'm gonna try my hand as a mage for my first play through because I'm intrigued at what characters and NPC's reactions will be to a mage Inquisitor protagonist now that the mage/Templar rebellion is in full swing.

Always play warrior first time through, to get used to the combat. Guess it will depend on the party members.

Female mage who has ALL THE POWERS. If warriors are allowed to dual weild again, I might do a female warrior after that, but if not, then my second playthrough will be a female rogue of some form (archer, dual weilding). If we get racial choices, there's a good chance I'll ditch my first mage to play a female dwarven rogue.

I usually play a 2h weapon warrior in the first two, but I'm considering playing a dual daggers rogue, or perhaps a mage, if they bring back an arcane warrior option in DA3.

Well my first transfer saves will be a rogue Warden and a mage Hawke, so a warrior I think.

I always enjoyed playing as a mage in DAO, I like Bethany so didn't play as one in DA2 (until the mod came along, before that mostly played as a warrior), so long as there isn't another something terrible that happens if you play as a mage in DA3, that's what I will play as, its certainly what I want to play as first, I love playing as a mage.

I've always been very prone towards mages when it comes to Dragon Age. The mage origin in DA:O wasn't my favorite in terms of story, but the mage class was the only style of combat I didn't find tedious.

In DA2 I really enjoyed the apostate status of my Hawke character, even if it didn't always make sense and it meant having to hang out with Carver more.

I also really like the whole 'dark magic' thing so I almost always end up going Blood Mage too.

My first class will very likely depend on background/race options. If it's a fixed protag like Hawke, rogue I suppose.

Female Mage- I did it for the first two and I quite like the symmetry of doing it for the final game.

tough call for me. it will depend on the gameplay mechanics in the new installment. in hindsight i pref'd the rouge class in DAO and the mage in DA2 in terms of combat. there's no way for me to know what i actually want to do in terms of character class with DA3 until the demo drops. it seems like the mage class might be the most interesting in terms of the overall story, but who's to say, right? i might just draw straws to make that decision.

The warden i imported was a male rogue/archer, my 'perfect, ready to import' Hawke is a sword'n'board male warrior so in da3 the plan is to play a male mage. Over time i will probably try all the classes but the mage is first in line.

Always play a warrior first, then a mage. All female. Then I just play as many combinations as I can before I get bored!
