Sorry to join in on your conversation, but I'm a Pro-Templar, and I aim to be

A Qunari Male Mage. Ahum, yes, you read that correct.

Traitor why mate

Traitor why mate

Oh, but my Qunari mage is Pro-Templar as well. Yes, you read that right.

And me being Pro-Templar doesn't change with whatever my character thinks. I can easily roleplay a Pro-Mage. Like my Hawke, and my Warden during Broken Circle.

Qunari is the most interesting to me right now, though I don't know if it's my favorite.

But yeah, my mage is someone who doesn't like being a mage, but does recognize the benefits it brings.

No, I'm thinking damage-based. Ironically, I think my mage will be someone who unleashes his rage over being a mage in the use of magic. At least, that's how I see him. Not to say I'm going for the brooding, near-depressed type character.

With benefits I meant those in battle. Healing is beneficial as well, and my mage knows that too, of course.

I guess you could say my mage will be more of 'fight fire with fire'-type, as he battles magic with magic.

DAo I played female elf rogue and then female elf mage

in DA2 female Rogue and mage

So it is time to play elves again! Just need to decide rogue or mage.

Want to have summoner mage spec one day, I think it would be fun, summon creatures to fight other creatures and being lazy mage.

i do my best your not a mage fan are you

Me personally, I got nothing against mages or templars. In DAO my Warden sided with the mages and templars finding the best course of action for both, in DA2 the fail cake that was named Hawke sided with the Templars(siding with them wasn't a fail, but a hell of a lot of other things that Hawke did/didn't do were, hahaha).

Depends on the character I'm playing. Dunno who my Inquisitor will side with, but most likely answer is both, again in the best way possible for each group.

My first choice would be female Mage, if it is as good as in DA:2. Second choice Rogue. However If I have a good LI in the game then I'll play whatever he is!  <3

My first playthrough will be a female qunari mage. Because in my opinion it will make for a most interesting storyline.

First played DA:O as a male Dalish archer rogue who pretty much sucked, but that may have been because combat generally sucked in Origins.

My first Hawke was a female mage, who I really liked, even though Carver was a hater.

I shall begin Inquisition as a male Qunari/kossith barbarian who wields two axes. When they confirmed kossith as a race, I knew I wouldn't be able to play as anything else the first time through. I have to know they get it right.

Do we even know if you can wield two axes?

I think I might take a break from human warriors and mages and start DA:I with a Qunari rogue. And if I'm really lucky, Varric will be an LI and they'll have to find boxes for him to stand on, or she might need to invest in kneepads. Whatever, I have months to figure it out.

For the other races/classes, the only one I am set on is a human mage who specializes as much as she can in the Spirit school, just because.

I'll probably play every race, gender, and class. I may not finish all those playthroughs, but I'll at least start them.

My first playthrough will definitely be a female elf. I cant decide yet though if I want to be a warrior or a mage.

I typically do a "villain" play through where I rush through the game creating one of the most evil characters imaginable and I find that human typically works best for this. Class doesn't really matter, it depends on the sort of evil you're going for. Sly cunning assassin evil=rogue. Blood Mage evil=mage. Ramsay Bolton evil=warrior.

My mains in the previous games were Male Dwarf Noble Warrior Champion Tank and in DA2 a Male Force Mage dps.

in DAI my main will be a Male Qunari Mage dps. AS far as appearance, He'll probably look similar to my avatar, but I don't know. I know I'm going to make his face and horns look pretty cool and I like Mage outfits with plates of armor on it kind of like the Mage Champion armor from DA2.
