I'm wrestling with the idea of making either a Qunari Rogue in the vein of Letho from Witcher 2, or a Dwarf Warrior in the vein of.....I'm not sure yet.

I'll be an elven mage. That's what I was in the past ones so I gotta keep it consistent.

I played a female Dwarf Noble S&S Warrior in DA:O, and am going to play a male Rogue Hawke after I finish my current run of Awakenings, so I kind of have my heart set on female Dalish mage (probably Rift Mage for specialization, unless Necromancer turns out to be incredibly awesome). Hopefully the Entropy skill tree won't be nerfed, because I love using it with elemental spells, and it had amazing combos in Origins.
My second playthrough will be with a female Qunari Rogue, Assassin, who will be more like Snark!Hawke than the diplomatic Dalish. Romance-wise, I would love to get my hands on Varric for most playthroghs (even if I have to roll a dwarf lady sooner than I intended), but I really like the looks of DHMG/Dorian and Feathers/Beardy Warden a whole lot. If neither of them are available for fem romance, then I guess I'll be leading Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Inquisition (I really don't feel a Cullen romance for any of my main characters unless he gets a total character overhaul and becomes really interesting). Hopefully there will also be a really good F/F romance I can play with one of my girls, like Isabella in DA:II.
After that, I'm going to play with every race and every class/gender in Thedas until I start quoting while lines of dialogue.

First I think I'll play with a female elven rouge, rather stoic yet with an underlying wit and blonde with sharp but elegant features (really rooting for long hair options for her). Next I think I'll go for a female Qunari mage who's loud and bold and then maybe a human warrior--though warriors always took to long to attack for me since I'm addicted to rapid spell casting or rouge's speed. Romance wise I'm not sure yet, Cullen calls to me but I'm also interested in DHMG and the bearded Warden. Or maybe Cassandra, who knows.

It's hard to tell, given that we don't know the entire origins. I know Elf is a Dalish, and a qunari is never introduced to qun, but I don't know what the human or the dwarf will be. 

 

I do plan on playing a human male warrior, since warriors seem to be the easiest to figure out how the game is played. I'll play a female dwarf thief (since there are no female dwarves), and later, a male elf mage. I'm not really certain about kossith, I guess it has to deal with how the qunari are treated in game. I really, really hope the qunari aren't shoveled onto us as the "ordered good guys", as it felt like was done in DA2 with the Arishok (say what you will about Tallis, but at least you can refute her claims)

I won't know till I start the game I never do. I'll mess around with the CC and a character will form in my head. That's my "process".

Ill probably go with a female qunari for my 1st character since its a new race, i just hope she doesn't look too much like the comic version ie: gray skinned human with small horns & large breasts want her looking like a fighter not a model

A male Elven Warrior, who will likely be a vary undalish dalish Elf. With heavy boots of Lead and an Unshakable Faith in the Maker.

I'm going to start with a male elven rogue probably named Milan. I don't plan on having any real planned look, I just plan on making him really really hot, like the Brad Pitt of the elves. Then I will try out a female human sword and shield warrior named Alexandra, I'll probably go for a Jessica Alba look with her. Then I'll try a qunari two-handed warrior, for the gender it's a toss up but if I choose a female it will be named Anisa and if I choose a male it will be named Hannibal, I don't have any appearance in mind for either, but I'll try to make them look at least decent and bearable.

My second play-through will be Human Female Warrior. I never play male or other races. And I don't like playing as a Rogue. :/
