Realizing now I'm gonna have to hopefully match whatever I'm rolling character-wise with the right voice.
What race, gender, appearance, and class of character do you plan to play in DA:I?

With you on this. I will probably go with a female first playthrough, but Harry Hatten-Paton's voice is so amazing in the trailer I might just do a male inquisitor so I get to hear it. I'm still undecided about human or elf, whichever looks better to me in CC is what I'll go with, especially if there are some cool Dalish tattoos this time around. I've played a rogue 1st playthrough both other games, so I'll probably go that way this time too, but I'm tempted to play a mage since healing is going to be an issue.

Blodwedd Lavellan
A rouge, maybe an artificer.
I think I'm going to make her duel-wield

Changed my first play through to a female dwarf rouge-though this may change a few times, until I play the game.

Well I already have four planned Inquisitors, but I'll be starting with (shocker, when you look at my name) Maev Adaar, a Qunari Female Mage. Main healer but unsure of spec yet. I have her general appearance down, as far as grey skin, white hair, yellow eyes.. less so on how her horns will look or tattoos. I'm not impressed with any of the tattoo options for Qunari at all so far so I probably won't be using any.

For first playthrough - male Human, Mage. Then male Qunari Warrior and female Dwarf Rouge. If at that point I won't be sick of this game - male/female Elf Templar

In DAO my main playthrough was with a dual wield male dwarf warrior. In DA2 it was a male mage.
My choice in DAI will likely be dependent on how large of a role the dwarves play in the story line and whether there will be more than one dwarf companion (wish Bioware would give Varric a beard!). I miss Oghren! When I can play a race other than human, I like to give my character a side agenda of advancing the cause of their people. I probably would have abandoned the surface in DAO and spent the whole time in the deep roads trying to liberate thaigs if I could have.
From the looks of things I'll probably go with an elf archer rogue, take all the elf companions and try to recreate my second favorite party from DAO. 3 rogue archers + 1 healer with summoned animals acting as tanks. Glad to see multiple elf companions so far.

Elf female. I usually make my characters look as much like myself as possible so pale skin, brown hair and brown eyes. I usually play a rogue first and a mage in a later playthrough. My first playthrough will be with an elf name Arzala. The second time I may play a human mage named Elyn.
So many choices!

Feel free to engross yourself into the sections you find interesting(Dragon Age Inquisition sections, Mass Effect, etc etc). A qunari female warrior. A qunari form of Brienne of Tarth, but maybe without so much angst.

Thank you. I can see myself getting lost on here for hours even without commenting. I find many of the posts pretty entertaining.
I didn't realize there was so much on here. Are there any forums for older Bioware games? October can not come fast enough! ![]()

Yeah, just go to the main forum page and scroll down, as the forums for older Bioware games hold less priority over the newer ones.

Male elf mage which hates chantry and its followers
In second playthrough qunari warrior. His ending will be like this , just replace dwarf to Cassandra, kingsguard to inquisition, city to world and king to Maker

My rogue fem Hawke was Ellis, my fem elfquisitor will be Theria, and my fem qunquisitor will be Zen.
My Hawke and elfquizzy headcanonwise know eachother, Hawke was sent to train with her clan at a young age.
I have a set of names I've cultivated and formed loose personalities for, mostly they're the remains of stories I've abandoned and the characters are just floating in limbo.
Ellis is always a sarcastic roguey lockpicky asshat and Theria is always the aloof calm healer-type mage thing. Zen is just me. I may play Theria as a bow rogue though. I just love breaking into things. ![]()

1st playthrough will be a pro templar human battlemage/Arcane warrior, basically mages in plate if I can (my warden and hawke were also pro templar mages)
2nd will be a Female Quinari pro templar mage, just so I can REALLY be hated by the Qun.
(was just never able to justify being pro mage so I prolly wont try that for a while)

Given I don't usually play mages but may in Inquisition, I wonder if I'll be biased towards the mage cause or if I'll come out of left field and back the templars.
I might just stick to finding a middle ground, but the opportunity interests me.

Female Qunari Rogue. The mental image of a Qunari trying to sneak past people is just too tempting.

There's got to be an Aimo piece of artwork in the future of exactly that, the joke being the horns give it away ![]()
