As childish as it is - I would like to see a random NPC named Biggles, it's a much more subtle tip of the hat to Monty Python.

Definitely more subtle than "NOBODY EXPECTS blahblah".

Running into a radical inquisitor who wants the purge every non-human and every heretic, infidel and traitor (so basicly almost everyone). Has carries a large hammer, lots of fancy bling and skulls.
And he swaears fielty to some God-Emperor you never heard of.

Indeed, this franchise needs more 40K references.

Mention something about Kirkwall being far to unsophisticated what with everyplace looking the same and not changing at all over a period of years.

Come on, you know that would be funny. And prove that Bioware has a sense of humor.

I would love to see that. If there is like a naval scene in DA3 though they could name one of the ships The Normandy

This is an excellent idea, giving BioWare some ideas for easter eggs... except that people won't be surprised if they saw it being suggested here, then see it in the game.

An easter egg I'd like to see... hmmm...

I would love to have the PC and current party members enter an area, only to find a high dragon swoop down and grab or blast (with fire), 1 or more NPCs who wind up dead. This area would preferrably be a mostly inhabitable one, so as not to make it too obvious that the easter egg is: "Swooping is bad." It'd be better than (King) Alistair just outright blurting it out, in the player's/PC's face.

WINNING, but only if there's a character named, "Tyler Rose" looking for a doctor.

Also, Borderlands 2 had a Double Rainbow easter egg.

That meme is old. Therefore, Gangnam Style is fair game for DA3. hahahaha

Had a similar self reference in the Leviathan DLC. Good for a laugh.

Still doesn't make buggy sync kills any better. *Angry glare at Bioware

One for good old MS would be cool, but it should be in the ME series rather than the DA one.

This would be excellent. And hey, ME1 had people saying things like "Thank the Maker."  I vote for some reverse easter egging and this would be the most entertaining option while still haviing a good nerd bonus. XD

"Thank the Maker" in ME1 wasn't a reference to DAO though. That was a coincidence.

At the Doctor Who references... i think a reference to one of the classic episodes :D

A small village rules by some crazy woman who keeps blob creatures in a pit and she asks you to slay them... etc etc... and then the story going appropriately...

I'd like the player to come across the corpse of a female elf or human, cut in half horizontally through the middle, her top half wearing a metal bikini top, her bottom half wearing a metal bikini bottom. The party would then make comments about how stupid she was to wear armour like that and the blacksmith who designed it should be fired.

Here's my two cents...

Two adventurers, named Talia Zhor and Gaors Vakaran, discussing among themselves in a tavern about how they brought down a Harvester, and lamenting the long time their leader, Shepherd (gender unspecified), is taking in coming back from a nearby citadel with the reward, you'd think simply excusing oneself and saying "I should go" would suffice... :P

I can totally see it... *_*

Group reaches a clearing, three men are making camp there...
Companion: Nevarran Inquisitors? That's not something I expected to see here...
Inquisitor #1: I know, right, we get that everywhere!
Inquisitor #2: It was almost funny the first two or three times, but now it has become a downright pain in the hindquarters!
Inquisitor #1: Right. Especially when you reach a tavern after a long day of travel and they tell you all rooms are full because they didn't expect you to show up... Even though you sent a messenger there to inform of your coming three months in advance just to make sure. So you are forced to sleep in the woods... Again!
Inquisitor #3: You have to admit that last one was strange. It's almost as if this was some sort of running joke.
Inquisitor #1: Don't be a fool! Who would ever think of making a joke about inquisitors being unexpected everywhere they go?
*Moment of silence. Inquisitor #1 shuffles uncomfortably. Convo resumes as normal.*

Seconded!

A NPC in some conversation proclaiming loudly "Thank the Maker!" and a (pantless) NPC in the background who looks supiciously like David Gaider smiling smugly.

I don't think that would be considered a MLP easter egg(even though I know what you're referencing).

Better if it was more obvious, like a tome or something that reads

"As stars and twilight sparkled in the skies above, I thought it was time for my fluttering eyes to shut for some well rested sleep(a rarity with my profession). As the sunlight rose and rainbows glistened in the sky(likely due to rain as I slept), I dashed for the apple trees and sa-

Excuse the blood, this isn't the original author. I dealt with him. He thought he could get away from his obligations, but alas, he was wrong. A reminder to those who are untrustworthy-

NO ONE BREAKS A PINKIE PROMISE.

Signed, 3.14"

Actually, that's not quite so obvious.

I second the ponies. Call a wide AoE mage spell "Prismatic Burst" and make it a rainbow-colored explosion, which is both an obvious nod to those who "get it" and sufficiently fantasy to stealth by those who do not (DnD has plenty of spells with similar names). Also, include a codex entry detailing fantastical fanfics written about the Warden and Hawke by a crazed fangirl named Monochromatic Standstill.

On another note:

Somebody has to say "A so-and-so always pays his debts."

Biggles isn't just a Monty Python character, though. I'd rather see Arthur Pewtey or Dinsdale.
