Combat will suck, and we won't have the "auto attack" option for those who don't like to button-mash.
Journal updates will pull an ME3 - DON'T DO THAT.
I hope the story will not take place in one city again. Although I did like to see Kirkwall change over the years, limiting our exploration made me grow bored of the place real quick.
The Warden's "disappearance" will be ignored. I want to know what happened and why.
More "copy-paste" enviroments.
I will say I enjoyed the "friend/rivalry" system. Although, I would like to be able to drive off party members again by something I did or word of mouth. In DA2, you may have incurred someone's wrath but they'll still hang with you for kicks and giggles unless a plot point allowed you to "give them away" (Fenris, Isabela).
In DA:O you could talk to a party member at anywhere, anytime They had more dialog, and you could get to know them in a more in-depth level. I feel like I didn't get to know my companions well - I don't want to read a journal entry about them, I want to TALK to them as much as I want.
In short: give us more control...especially over armor, dialog, plot, and tactics.

Can't play good ol' "white guy", which I almost always play. And the combat sucks along with the story and don't have any say in the dialogue.
... why did you stick "white" in there

Any ending that allows the templars to remain in existence/power, really. Aside from that, I have faith in Bioware to get past most of the issues here.
I don't understand. You don't want that all the endings in DA2 will let the templars be in power/exist, or you don't want that there is even one ending where the templars are in power/exist? In the latter, it shouldn't be right. There should be option to destroy them as well as preserving them (IF the game's main plot will be around the mage/templar conflict).
Plus, not every templars treats the mages in the way they were treated in Kirkwall (in Ferelden they weren't treated that way, considering that Anders escaped 7 times and he wasn't Tranquilized. In Kirkwall he would've been Tranquilized, or killed). By that logic, we should kill all the mages, since in Kirkwall the large majority become blood mages and/or abominations.

And if DA gets turned into an mmo....that would bury it for me.

IIRC, Anders, Varric, Aveline, and Merrill all had to be in your party along with Bethany/Carver.Upsettingshorts wrote...

In DA:O I think there was only Alister and Dog if a HN.

I lol'd....but in all seriousness....I always feel the people who make snide remarks on the cynical community are more trolls than most people who give constructive criticism. I mean, it's an incredibly pretentious and a holier-than-thou sort of viewpoint. I can't tell who trolls more, the people who criticizes the cynical community or the people who make comments into other peopls thread saying something like "this thread is like every other thread."
Good day.

My guess was that there was going to be only one ending, unlike ME3. I don't want the templars' survival guaranteed.hhh89 wrote...

Yes. Its like they were my firends, even though I didn`t want them to be at all. Varric was ok, since he was tied to the Deep Roads expedition, and was kind of a partner. Take Merril for example. I leave her immediatly. Don`t do any of her quests. and she still shows up at the end, 7 years later, and supports me as if we have been best friends and seen eachother every day.
I want to decide for myself what kind of friends i want. Simple as that.
