That they drop development and there is no game at all...

I enjoyed DAO more than DA2, but I still played the hell out of both.

How about the first half of the game is a pre-order bonus and the second half is day-one dlc?

I'm sort've leaning towards the possibility that this thread is a troll thread, but I'll give a response anyways.

Worst case scenario is that the game is made, its super awesome, and I for unforseen reasons am completely unable to play it.

If a game is bad that stinks. If its not made that stinks. But the worst possible thing is to have something be incredibly amazing yet completely out of reach.

Basically if it is more like DA2 than DAO this will have been a failure. Meaning the 'enemies in waves', reused dungeons, horrible story pacing[ ie after the Arishok arc things went downhill], Random deaths we are supposed to care about but have no impact whatsoever. Making the player character in to a do nothing moron [ Talis], limiting options etc.

That wouldn't really be the game's fault though?

That.

Second to that is the story's weak and leaves you feeling like all DA3 was was a lead-in to DA4.

Sorry didn't read the main post's premise thoroughly and instead zoomed in on the title.

In that case an unplayable bugfest. Paying money for a game that is too buggy to even tell if its good or bad would stink.

That's okay. I'm inclined to forgive I very good yet very buggy game, and i think most people are too. esp. given that there will be patches if everyone cries hard enough

- Morrigan not in the game.

- Warden & Hawke isn't even mentioned.

- Instead of something unexpected, the game is indeed simply about a conflict between Templars and Mages, and it gets solved but we're left with a cliffhanger ending that starts an entirely new story for a future game.

- Crafting system is ****.

- Extremely cartoony and childish graphics such as Age of Empires: Online did from AoE III to AoE:O. (That was.. awful)
