This doesn't count the people on the forums but people need to realize the reality of hpw bad the playerbase is and how its gnna get worse. The people who weren't playing much have moved onto BL2, alot of the high end players have moved onto BL2 as well. I played 1 ME3 game since tuesday and it was to get/test the argus. Even looking at my FL which used to be 90% people playing ME3 is not 90% people playing BL2. No new DLC coming this month, 2 groups of people that are giving up on playing it currently and also means an influx of new players. So what will these new players do? Go to google and look at how to unlock weapons, and what will they get? FBW/G/P so thatss all they will play. So looking for a decent PUG is gonna be all but gone at this point.

No this isn't a knock on BW, its part of a games life cycle, and yes i still love ME3 MP and I think they did a great job with it so far. But its at a point where they need to rejuvinate it or let it die. And an Argus and weekend event isn't enough.

Tis the normal cycle of any game. I still enjoy playing and fortunately we have this forum here. I'm currently trying to enlist platinum peeps for PS3 because 3/4 of my friends list have moved on.

I'm honestly surprised at how few of my FL are playing BL2.

I was expecting too much (my mistake) & hoped that there will be a dlc atleast till the end of this month. Unfortunately there isn't going to be & so i will get a new game to play & return when the dlc is announced / released.

I am comfortably sitting on 12 mln credits right now & with a maxed manifest i think this would be enough to unlock the new stuff & max it (except UR or gears).

I have been lucky to run into good teams on pug gold games. There is the odd game that goes badly, but I just try to stick to good groups as much as possible. Most of the top players in my country are hardly playing.

The MP game needs to evolve past just new Characters / R&UR Items everytime a new DLC comes out. There really needs to be some new game mode, or at least some big improvements to MP's technical issues (RNG, store & gameplay bugs).

I had more people on my FL go back to Skyrim to play as vampires or build houses.

LOL, another post praising BL2, "high end players moved onto BL2" - **** this, I'm reporting this thread for garbage. The ME3 community is far from dead.

I noticed when I started up Borderlands 2, it said "9 friends playing Borderlands 2." Most of my friends list is people I added specifically for ME3's MP, so yeah... realistically, the playerbase has taken a hit.

Think he means the speed run group / good player base is dead more or less. Think I even might jump on BL2 today.. Still love ME3 but it's not looking so great anymore.

Same here, I had like 9-10 peeps from BSN and ME3 pugs, now I have 9 BL2 players and 1 friend who barely gets on to run ME3 u/u/g...

It's only just come out, I'm sure once the initial rush is over more people will return to me3.
I'm playing both atm, playing multiple games is allowed y'know.

A lot of people from my friend's list whom I added from this game and played regularly have moved on to BL2. I am not interested in that game so I have been playing with more randoms lately. Hopefully I will find more people to my list who are still playing this game.

Well it does suck when they say they are going to have a busy week, which many players took as possible DLC or a patch just to have nothing done. I realize they cannot give any leaks, but to give really nothing not even in the weekly buff/nerf balance changes really throws a lot of players off to where this game is going. They needed to release more than just the argus and if the guns we don't have in mp now are released as "new" DLC then I think the player base will shrink even more.

I honestly haven't touched ME3 all week due to BL2 I plan to come back to ME 3 but I have to say the incentive to play is pretty weak especially since I didn't like the Argus in single player so it's pointless to me in multi and with more nerf "balances" on the way I'm starting to wonder if I really want to come back and I've been playing since the demo. Makes me sad really.

Feel you on that, I've been looking at BL2 since it came out and I think I'm gonna break down and buy it today.. It's depressing looking at the direction ME3 is going now. The most fun I had was in the demo, always and forever in the demo.

The playerbase taking a hit from a new triple A title being released is not exactly news, slayin.

If people enjoy the game enough, they will return after playing Borderlands 2 as much as they want.

I would like new DLC soon though, but am still thoroughly enjoying playing with friends and carrying groups of useless noobs in PUG's.

I've no interest whatsoever in BL2, not sure why but didn't see anything particularly good about the first one. It was actually Dragon Age: Origins that took me away from this game, not sure how I missed that first time around!

I've come back to ME3 MP with even more passion than I had when I left. A big part of this was my decision to start over with a totally new manifest on a new platform (PC). I know to some of you that sounds like lunacy (I too spent a fair amount of real money getting my old PS3 manifest to where is was) but I really wanted a fresh look at this game. You guys should try it. You'd be surprised how much more entertaining the game is when you are running very basic classes with basic weapons, mods and gear.

Right now I am kinda hoping they DON'T release more DLC quite yet just so I have a chance to build my new manifest a little first!

The two things this game needs are a proper patch to fix the plethora of bugs (I was disappointed to see things like the vanguard glitch were still present when I came back to the game after a month or 2 away from it) and a new mode of some kind.
