Anyways, I'm glad a writer saw this thread.
Bioware knows already that there are players who wants marriage and/or babies. Those threads were present during DA2 development (and ME3 development, though it was a game made by a different team).
Yet they weren't implemented in any of those games so the protest must be keep going
The fun fact is that ME3, as a the end of a trilogy, would've been perfect to show Shepard with a wife/husband and/or babies (at least for certain LI). And DA2, as a game in which the story is 7 years long, would've been good too to put marriage and/or babies (for certain LI). I don't care that they weren't present though (since they're not things I need or particulary wants), but it'd have been better to have a marriage in those game than in DAO (in the middle of the game, since a marriage is possible after the endgame), ME or ME2.
I think that there are (for my tastes) other things that should have the priority. But I'm not completely against it, as long it'll be optional (so that a romance with a certain LI doesn't have to end with a marriage, but it's based on player input).

By all means, keep on holding your breath. You still aren't going to get that extra cookie before you go to bed.
I'm still holding my breath waiting for you to show me where rinji proved me wrong.Take your time, I can wait
Keep on waiting. I'm not wasting my breath. You didn't see it when she pointed out the flaws in your logic. You questioned history when upsettingshorts pointed out the flaws in your logic. Way I see it, it isn't worth the effort.

For a baby? I know a middle name way better than this. It starts with "wait" and finish with "it".

Oh, don't worry. We will throw all the punches. Punching come standard. Possibly, if you buy the CE, David Gaider will come to your house to punch you in person.
I'm sure he'd love that- you probably wouldn't even have to pay him extra. I bet there's a ton of people he'd love to punch in person.
He should be careful because some fantard might be waiting with a net, ready to reenact the film/novel "Misery".![]()

You brought up so-called "real marriages" and claimed that marriages were not a thing among the non-noble classes in the real-world European Middle Ages.
Your persistent confidence in your own logic and knowledge despite dozens of contradictions and counter-arguments would be admirable if it wasn't so baseless.

Yes, you did there too, and always do. It's something of a habit of yours.
Keep pretending you know what you're talking about though, it's great entertainment.

*coughs* I can link too *coughs*
Fact is, ALL people of the middle ages were subject to arranged marriages despite social status. There were many reasons for this (some outlined in the link). This is just an example of you ignoring history. Fact is everyone DID share the mindset of the nobility even if they didn't necessarily like it.

You've now moved the goalpost from "loveless marriages" to "political marriages."
These are not the same thing. You are still wrong.

I didn't notice it earlier, but this would help with the illusion that the companions are autonomous from the player's intent, logic, control, wishes, mechinations etc.(In short, they are not psychophants or love dolls.)Kharizma wrote...
