Then you should have no problem with people thinking BW should apologize for their false marketing, so long as they are consistent and believe every company who false advertises is held to the same standard.

Skyrim is a game with more appeal than ME3, mroe appeal to the general market. Basically any type of gamer can play Skyrim.
Skyrim maybe more popular but it's not because of mainstream appeal. Assuming that was even true Bioware also tried to be as mainstream as possible and failed utterly. The auidence for ME games has barely expanded. It's about the same.
Of course they did. The idea they were promoting, that ME3 was the best place to start, was absolutely ridiculous. I understand why they did that, but it wasn't fooling anyone.

By the way, I'm not suprised that the usually defenders are the same people. The only ones missing is the guy with the custom dragon age avatar called macaroni or something the three guys with the garrus avatar and that goldrush guy.

LOL
I know exacly who you're talking about.
And I'm not surprised that a complainer would try to represent all the people who enjoy the game as a small group of only a few individuals. See how that works?M25105 wrote...

I'm not sure what how I'm supposed to reply here. Do you mean to say you can't give a game a bad review 6 months after release? Because you can. Are you saying that you can't get a refund 6 months after release? That depends on where/who you bought it from. By the same token, 6 months is plenty of feedback to make an informed purchase.legion999 wrote...

Apologize for what? A lot of people like the game as it currently stands, a lot of people don't. I wasn't aware that an artist has to please every single person in the world and automatically owes an apology whenever someone doesn't like what they came up with. If you don't like something, you don't have to like it. Give it a bad review, get a refund, whatever.
6 months after the game was released? Makes sense.

That's not why he want's an apology.

You still haven't answered my question: Why do you think they owe you an apology?
Because they lied multiple times,
They all do. Every game company does the same.

How is it pointless to give your opinion? Isn't that the platform 'Retake' and all those other efforts were built upon, to show exactly how many fans were demanding a better ending?legion999 wrote...
Yes you can. But it's completely pointless. And what magical place is this that it gives a refund after 6 months?

Bioware does. They need to apologize to themselves.

And who the hell waits 6 months to get a refund on something they don't like? If someone hated something that much, wouldn't they have gotten rid of it by now?
Hate the ending not the series, there was hope it could be salvaged, and it was for some, not all though.Hudathan wrote...

It's really just not that big of a deal. It's been what? Over a half a year?

I would just like to interject that Bioware is far from the first dev to claim that the most recent game is the best place to start from. In fact Ubisoft recently created a video saying AC3 is the best place to start for newcomers.
