One of the biggest gripes about DA:II was the re-use of art assests throughout the game. The locations you went through all felt/looked very similar.
This was also a problem with ME1, the side-mission planets always had the same generic looking base on it to go through.
I hope that with DAIII Bioware uses more variety. One of the best things about an adventure-based rpg is how much variety they can use in the environments. Going from one area to another that looks and feels vastly different not only is more pleasing to the eyes but also to the sense of time/adventure.
One of my main wishes for DAIII, more location variety/art variety in general.
