You say this before Halo4 and black ops2 come out.
I think those games cater to a different segment of the multiplayer market.

I recall another game I played where people predicted the "death" of it every time another major release in that genre came out. Came out in 2004 and on Tuesday they release their next expansion with about 10 million people playing it.

Agreed. I love ME3 but have no interest at all in Halo, Black Ops, or anything else of that ilk. First, I hate 1st person perspective and greatly prefer 3rd person. Can't really explain why...it's just how I roll. Same reason I won't be buying Dishonored even though it's a cool idea and I love Bethesda's other games.
Second, having different classes with different powers (so that it's not all about guns) is what separates ME3 from the more traditional shooters.
So for me personally, Halo and Black Ops won't affect my ME3 MP participation. The skinner box store and constant nerfs, however...

It'll be around for a while, regardless of what other new games come out. So, yeah.

The happy reality of the ME3 MP playerbase: when all new popular games come out, we'll be few left, but we'll be the ones that genuinely like Mass Effect and not just the multiplayer game "of the day". And there'll be no topics about Borderlands and Halo and people complaining the game will die (well guess what, newsflash, everything dies, even you will one day). Honestly, I think that the benefits of some people leaving may outweigh the losses.
+1... amen!

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of Halo fans that play ME if I was just guessing. It's a pretty good sci-fi shooter like ME3. It has its own horde mode too. Better than CoD at least.Sulaco_7 wrote...

Until new DLCs make this game fresh again, I'm gone man. I just played PUGs on Xbox, with two N7 700s and 1000s guy not using missile glitch nor medigels, on wave 10 Platinum.

Think you want the other thread.

One of the weakest threads meant to mock and/or counter another thread I've seen on this forum...and that's saying something.
