Maybe I am weak. But I am not going anywhere, I don't give 2 sh*ts about halo or borderlands or american idol or missile glitchers. I love Mass Effect, I have been a fan since 2008, and even with all the doomsday crap I still enjoy a gold game with friends...

Borderlands 2 came out. I'm playing it and enjoying it.

I'm also playing ME3:MP still. And will until it closes down, just as I did with Metal Gear Online, and just as I do with older games.

Play one game incessantly for too long and you'll suffer from burnout.

Not saying your opinion or even the game itself is weak. I simply meant the original post in this thread is weak. Basically, he's responding to another thread by saying "Naw Uh. Take that". OP doesn't make a strong statement, and offers no actually facts/data to support his assertion or refute the assertion of the other thread.

I've been a fan of Mass Effect since the first game too, which is why I've stuck around as long as I have. I'd also like to enjoy a gold game with friends, but unfortunately they're all busy playing another game all of a sudden.

Well, it's dwindling. The end is inevitable. Any MP mode of a game has a limited shelf life except fo r a few outstanding titles that are built for multiplayer. But honestly it gave me a lot more enjoyment than I anticipated, really had me addicted harder than I thought, and I'm surprised it's lasted this long. I'm pretty much done for now but am hoping that Bioware builds off of this and release a full featured ME MP game. I would be in there like a dirty shirt.

I hope if they do shut down the EA servers in zee far future, there is still a P2P system in place, unless of course a newer ME MP game is out. I would miss the game.

Well, I did try C0D4 MP, but player vs player; lag killed the experience....

Actually I thought the original post was just about giving a ray of sunshine through what many are declaring is a gathering gloom.

I recall another game I played where people predicted the "death" of it every time another major release in that genre came out. Came out in 2004 and on Tuesday they release their next expansion with about 10 million people playing it.

And it's Pandas. Why not an expansion pack about space-wizards?
Maybe they just need another celebrity to advertise it.
I would play it if there were space-wizards.

I don't know. Two weeks after Earth DLC came out I pretty much was done with the game. Returned to playing now, but I'm already getting bored again, so...aside from a few days before and after the next DLC, I don't know if I'll be back.

Same here. I'm bored too. Silver is boring, but I can't get past wave 6 of gold without a stacked team. So it's pointless to even try. I rarely play with friends. So yeah I'm bored of the game.

I have no issues with the Panda, though you do know something went wrong when you announce it, then need to make a second announcement that just says "No, it wasn't a joke", and then keep saying that for the next 10 months.

Also they had an expansion with space goats that could be mages, if that counts.

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer was the reason I started playing online on Xbox 360, thanks to it meet a lot of good people and had a lot of fun. I will keep playing as long there is possibilities and feel like it. I never planed on playing online and Mass Effect made me and was a good experience.

I can not play as much as I did before, but when there is nothing else to do, ME MP is my pass time almost every day I play one match and gather my friends around for the operations.

and Halo 4?  well....not a fan of the mp. and the story in 1,2, and 3 were muttled imho. Reach was pretty cool though...for the one play through....the strong point...FLYING THE FIGHTER!!!

same buddies i play ME3MP with...i played BL with (in fact..if it wasnt for a ME3MP buddy i wouldnt have picked it up) and i will play BL2 with. i dunno...i didnt care much for playing BL by myself...and im getting the same feeling about #2. and it isnt alot of fun when playing with random folks.


ME3MP on the otherhand...fun with friends...and fun with randoms (save for the rare ****...err....the vorcha with no gear that wants to charge off and mess up the spawns and then steal your spot and force you to move some place else cuz he stands in your way firing the reegar....then keeps DYING cuz he doesnt know what he is doing...AND SOME DUDE TRYING TO BE A TEAM PLAYER RUNS OFF TO REVIVE HIM AND GETS KILLED HIMSELF!!!.  GOOD JOB ACE!! good job!)

The 3 Gunzerkers in my squad just whipped out DUAL ROCKET LAUNCHERS.

That and my Saber turret still is launching rockets... 22 at a time.

Damn... with all these explosions I am surprised the world still exists.
