We all saw the concept art but I was slightly disappointed that I never saw them in game. Also I love tall women.

Not to mention all romances has certain obstacles to over come. Two different races, to different cultures would be a very compelling obstacle, and I think it would have a much bigger effect if it was a female kossith rather than if it was male.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only person on BSN who does not list among his favorite traits in a lady, "blueish-grey skin, 8 feet tall, horns, and a violent religious furor".

I would like to see this as well. We still haven't met any female Kossith in gameplay yet and there's nothing wrong with having one as a LI.

I'm all for a female Kossith... but I don't see it working as a Love Interest. I dunno why, I always see them as kind of looking down on us lesser beings (literally, and figuratively) and always seeing us as not really worth the time.

As I've pointed out across a number of threads now - I'm all for having female kossith in the game, but any close affiliation of such with what the DA3 PC is most likely going to be, is going to be extremely hard to handle well, and may best not be attempted at all, in favor of dedicating resources to more worthwhile pursuits.

Is that really the character you want to compare yourself to?

Honestly, in Dragon Age, one could do worse.

It's a policy that hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Female kossith (and qunari) need to be completely redesigned in such a way that accounts for the fact that they exist in a society completely alien compared to the rest of Thedas and as such have completely different standards of aesthetics, style and beauty.

E.g. Qunari mating is soley for the purposes of procreation and who sleeps with who is entirely dictated by the Tamassarans. As such both genders have no purpose for sexualized anything (from sexy clothes to make-up) simply because they don't need to actively attract a mate.

Of course knowing the Bioware art department they will likely not account for this and just go LOLSEXYCHICKSWITHHORNS.

We haven't seen any female Kossith. We have a concept of one in her underwear, but that should hardly be used to judge the designs of the entire sex.

Hence, any female kossith companions would likely be Tal-Vashoth and not abide by the qunari sex rules.

Comic books aren't canon. Bioware already said female Turians and other aliens in the ME comics are not official designs and that until we see something in the game it's not an official design.

It'd still be somewhat to mostly ingrained into their mindset. Furthermore it'd make far more an interesting design then the standard videogame logic of:

Women = ******.

The plots within the comics are not necessarily canon. The designs found within however are likely templates for what we should expect from future titles.

Don't be so obtuse.

Noted, but they did do that already with Aveline. And Merrill's are never prominent. Come to think of it, neither are Leliana's, really, in her default robe or in the leather armor she'd generally wear.

Can't find the exact thread, but here's a tweet made after the ME comic that invalidates the design.

So keep your "obtuse" remarks to yourself.

Generally, yeah. But both Hawke and the Warden(depending on how you played, anyway) manage to impress their respective kossith, showing themselves to be more noteworthy than simply "lesser beings".

No guarentee she'd be a qunari. She could be Tal-Vashoth. A kossith rogue who failed to adhere to the standards of the Qun, a kossith warrior woman who wanted to move past her assigned role in their society to exercise her natural talent at battle, or a kossith mage who just didn't want to be literally chained up her whole life (and Anders thinks the Chantry is bad. >_>). All of these are possiblities for a kossith female companion and love interest that Bioware could easily go with. Not to mention they can come up with their own scenarios for her that are nothing like mine here and still perfectly plausible, of course. :)
