Here's a thought.
We've already had a Kossith companion who was a member of the Qun. How about one of the Tal Vashoth for DAIII?
Well, if the leaked survey was right (and I'm not saying it was), we should be getting a male Tal Vashoth.
Oh, I know. I was just pointing out that we might still get to see some of the Tal Vashoth side of the Qunari. After all, this is all because you're interested in their culture, right?

(Interesting factoid: As I just learned, according to Voice Of God, "Kossith" is an inaccurate and outdated term for the pre-Qun Qunari culture. All over Thedas, the race of horned giants is called Qunari, as are all followers of the Qun... whaddaya know – live and learn...)

I don't know, how writters are ok with that. It's like if word "human" was replaced with word "theist" or something. And then you would have to go and guess every time from the concept of the sentence if someone is talking about actual theists or the human kind. Silly really.<_<

As much as I'd love a Qunari LI a platonic friendship would be the better way, the physical differences between humans and Qunari are just too big, at least from a heterosexual standpoint.
Remember, the females of that species are at least 7ft tall, the males up to 8ft.

If you're going to be a virtual pimp you better well revel in it and give the people what they want ... no good can come from despising your customers while servicing them half heartedly, that just leads to self-loathing.

The writers explain it quite well in the thread. "Kossith" is a pre-historical culture and was never a race.KainD wrote...

I don't know, from the concept art, the males only look a head taller and the females just under a head taller than humans. The size difference doesn't seem to be that much.

The Dev's have long ago confirmed that the races in that artwork are not shown in the correct scale. Do you remember DA2? The Qunari there were several heads taller than the protagonist and I guess the females of that race are not going to be significantly shorter.

Why do so many people think a relationship won't work because the women is taller.
I dunno. I think it may be awkward for some, but I am more interested in digging around in the Tal-Vashoth(considering females are not allowed to fight in the Qun) mindset. Armaas and Maraas instilled a curiousity that I haven't managed to shake. A romantic option may not be necessary for that, but I'd be interested to see how one might react to romantic attraction. That is, of course, assuming that the lack of romantic interest is a sociological aspect and not a biological one.

But seriously, you haven't gotten out much if you've never seen a woman who's taller than her partner. If it really couldn't work, it'd be bad news for all the short dudes out there.

I have no problems with dating a women who is significantly taller than me (though that very rarely happens, I'm 185cm tall), that CAN be a very attractive thing.
But being in bed with a women that is 40 cm taller and heavier than me even though I'm a weight lifter?
She would be quite....unimpressed I think.

i do not care if a women is tall or not (taller then me is not a problem either - why should it?...i do not get it why people are that fixated on looks (yes, i do like it if a girl/women is pleasant to look at/is easy on the eyes, but i would rather date an intelligent, witty and independent wall-flower then some stupid airheaded barbie-doll look a like with a princess complex, even if she were sexy as hell and knew how to seduce me)...they are a secondary attribute IMHO!)
greetings LAX
ps: short != cute (to say it like a programmer - but short is not a turn of either!)

Optional? What is this "optional" you speak of? Will it be forced on me, because I don't want that.
