Comic books aren't canon. Bioware already said female Turians and other aliens in the ME comics are not official designs and that until we see something in the game it's not an official design.

But the comic female look was based on the official design..

Kossith seem to have a bit of a superiority complex, don't they? An LI that needs more than shiny things to be impressed...I'm game. The official art doesn't look half bad either.

For a female Kossith to look anything other than a more feminine version of the male Kossith would be pretty absurd.

Aside from the head that's what that picture was.

Now I'm absolutely sure your eyes are not working properly. Kossith males are just built like big humans. Why would Kossith females be built like that?

Kossith males were humanoid but they were larger, had significantly broader shoulders, a slight hunch and were significantly more muscular. The example picture has all those traits except it's female.

That's concept art, not an official design. Until it's in the game it's just a concept. The same pic also showed a male dwarf with a much different build than any dwarves in the game actually had.

My shoulders are as broad as a Kossith's in DA2 and I'm not even 6'6". Only the concept art of the redesigned Kossith showed them with a hunch. The Kossith in-game have no hunch. And far as being muscular, any human can get that muscular.

Would love to see a Kossith female and dwarf female LI, just because it would be something not done before in the series. Doubt we get either, and DA3 will have the same old human and elf romances.

The concept art if offical art work, so I'd say it's a good bet that if a Kossith female is ever shown, they will look some what like that pic. Also, Bioware never showed any concept art of female Turians (Salarians, Drell or Krogan if am not mistaken) so the Dark Horse comic with one in it, could be way off, and just what they think one may look like.

By this reasoning we might not know what female dwarves will look like as they were missing in DA2. The male Kossith had a makeover after all.

We can assume that they look similar to male Kossith but of a slighter build and boobs as everything we've seen or heard about it makes that case.

You know what? I would love a female kossith party member. I love the qunari society and having one as a party member would be a great opportunity to explore the culture clash that would happen.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I felt like Tallis fell flat in that regard. A second chance wouldn't hurt.

If we got a female Kossith LI, she'd totally knock Cassandra back a few places in my list of characters I look forward to romancing.

Especially if she looks exactly like the concept art.
Dem cheekbones. Dat nose. Dem arms. DAT MUSCLE MASS.

I want a kossith companion just because i liked sten in dao. Making it a female and possibly LI could lead to very interesting interactions based on what we know from our previous meetings with the rest of their race/religion. I don't really see any huge reasons why we shouldn't have a female kossith as a companion because story can always be written, I'm sure people have hundreds ideas for how a meeting between 'her' and the PC could happen.

I think if they stick with the friend/rival system, you could have a recent defector from the Qun who you can either encourage towards reconciliation or complete defection.

I certainly support a female Kossith companion. Or even as NPCS.

Here's an idea. how about including a kossith in the game - but DON'T make here romanceable?

I'm not joking - What exactly would be idea behind having a LI kossith? To have a horny girlfriend? (that was a joke however).

A un-romancable kossith could probably bring more to the table than a romanceable one, simply because that /"¤%¤ romance wouldn't get in the way of things. In ME2 one of the best conversation partners Shepard had was with the unromanceable Samara.

Think of that.

It would be more accurate to call Samara semi-romancable.

The original concept are larger females. They're more muscular, broader, all the things you described. The only difference is one looks like a mutated bat, and the other is somewhat pleasing to the eye.

If this was a female Krogan design, sure, it would be ridiculous. But i think the latest Bioware releases bittered your view in such a way that anything that even resembles an attractive female is complete and utter fan service that makes no sense within the setting. Even then, you should be crusading against the male Kossith, as they are essentially Alpha males with their shirts off.

Lets face it, any race in any fantasy setting will in some way provide fan service sooner or later - some races are just more obvious. And I kind of agree with Gibb_Shepard on this, in that there are no ugly or unattractive NPC races in the DA setting: they are all providing that fan service, and for good reason: it sells.

I personally want to see a female dwarf LI..., but I think I'm alone on that one.

I agree.  I really wished we could have romanced Sigrun in Awakening.  She was so adorable!   (Although the tattoos were a bit of a turn-off)

A female Kosith Tal-Vashoth would be interesting too.

One or the other would be great, while both would be best.

I really hope there's more than two female LIs in DA3; variety is the spice of life.
