I think that if they did a female Kossith love interest that it would need to be a relationship similar to the one you can have with Sebastian in DA 2. A romance that slowly develops through the game, but amounts to the characters saying they love one another, instead of a sex scene.

Oh god... 30 pages. Who. The. Hell. Cares?! Well, obviously like several thousand people do, but still...

Why is a thread about horny (I mean, HORNS, by the way, so don't start) women has 30 pages and threads that really matter like storyline, character involvements, open world, DA2 mistakes and combat have 1-2?

Grey women are not what makes the game good, people.

Because we know absolutely nothing about the game. Speculation about a love interest that is part of a fan-favorite race is about as helpful as any other kind of speculation at this point.

I wouldn't mind one for a companion, but as a LI...I guess I would have to see what happened during the game.

Me too. There is just too many things you can romance in these games nowadays.. I don't care that much for romance plots. It's just an extra bit added to the game. I wouldn't say it's not interesting, but I wouldn't devout my character's life for the romance.

Character customization, character interaction and dialogue, the main plot, and romances are the most important factors in what makes Bioware game's good for me.

It's their niche and the stuff that they have excelled at for the last decade.

It's the reason that Mass Effect 1 is by far my favorite Mass Effect, even though the combat was really damn bad.

The people in this thread fall into three categories:

Those who think a Female Qunari LI/Companion would be really interesting and want to see it happen.

Those who think it's a bad idea and want to tell us why.

Those who don't care either way but for some reason feel obligated to come in and tell us that we are wasting our time and should instead be discussing things of more importance.

Even though at this point, we know nothing about the game and thus all talk is speculative.

In summary:

Grey Women in DA3 please. They will make the game better. :D

Practice.

Also the bitter taste in my mouth after ME3 helps alot. I'm still very much so in the camp of "Not buying until I know with 100% certainty that the game is good from start to FINISH."

There are hundreds of different threads on those things, and only one qunari LI page.  If you look at post count, there are certainly more total posts about any of the aspects you mentioned than there are here.  Honestly, I just want one female LI that isn't human or elven this time.  I don't really care if it's a qunari or a dwarf or something else.  Of course, the devs have already decided on the LIs, so we won't be getting one.  But, it's still funny to come to this thread and see how much it annoys people.

We know that and many of us have given Bioware feedback in those topics, but until we've seen what Bioware has planned or done we're sitting and waiting. Here we're just discussing what we would want in a Qunari/Tal' Vashoth LI/companion to pass the time.

Wow! Glad to see people around still have plenty of interest in the topic, and it is my hope that this has gotten enough attention at Bioware/Dragon Age HQ that it will or has happened already. There is some really good potential for this to have an even deeper look into those people regardless of whether or not she turns out to be love interest. Although, the romantic in me is hoping for a LI.

I believe Mr Gaider has already stated the companions and LIs have been picked out so you are out of luck

He did. But until we hear who the companions are we'll continue to show our support of this idea.

Which is why we hope Mr. Gaider liked what we had to say in this thread before he was forced out(and that maybe he popped back in a few times without posting to see what we were saying).

As far as an LI? I guess only if they were Tal Vashoth. The Qun has a very set way to do things and I can't help but feel a Qunari of any race falling in love would make them Tal Vashoth pretty soon. As far as a companion, I really want to know more about the Qun from someone less fanatical than Sten, or learn more about how someone leaves the Qun as Tal Vashoth or even if there are groups of Tal Vashoth that raise children who were never of the Qun I don't know what that would make them? Vashoth?

I would like to meet a Vashoth and a romance with him or her could be interesting. Also perhaps a Tal Vashoth who is not a mercenary. For some reason I am fascinated by Children in the Qun and a look at that from an ex convert, or any look at the Qunari from an ex convert would be very interesting.

Some good points you had there. We still know next to nothing about the people that gave birth to the Qun, the Kossith.

How important is love interest in a game ? Some people on bsn claim they can do without any. Qunari and Tal Vashoth are interesting but I don't see them as objects of romance. Romantic interest has to make some sense or it risks being too far outside the mainstream.

I think that it's very important to a game. The concepts of Romance and Friendship are a huge part of the human existence. We are genetically programmed to seek out like minded individuals and form emotional bonds with them, just as we are all programmed to procreate and pass on our genes to the next generation.

With the kind of stories that Bioware tells, it's silly to think that these characters wouldn't form bonds that in some cases might lead to love. The fact that you are given the option to pursue a romance with a character of your choosing is a really unique and cool aspect of Bioware games.

I hope they continue to explore this aspect of their games and honestly I hope they put even more resources into it in their future titles.

While I don't need to have a female qunari as a companion or LI (though I would certainly like it) I hope they'll appear in the next game (along with a return of dwarf women) so it doesn't create a Mass Effect like situation where the women of some races exists merely as a footnote.
