to the people who talk about what sten said to morrigan he was joking. she was annoying him so he said that to shut him up. unless the comics actually say it is a fact (I haven't read them so I have no clue if it said it or not). if you look at the conversations with morrigan and sten she tried to sleep with him and he turned her down I imagine he said that just to get the swamp witch to shut up

I'm pretty sure people are using quotes from that conversation as jokes, we don't always have to be super serious:lol:, especially when that banter is probably some of the best in the game.

As long as i get a Kossith companion, im okay. An LI would just be a bonus. Would be an interesting facet of the Kossith to explore though, cross-racial love, how to express it in a way that can be understood by both cultures.

It seems to me that any kossith companion would most likely respond to romantic attempts by human/elves/dwarves with disgust, disdain, contempt, unresponsiveness or bafflement.
The outcomes of the effort at romance with kossith either being nothing or the kossith leaving. However kinship, respect and camaraderie will more likely lead to a more becoming result.
Could a kossith feel respected even thou the kossith idea's (Qun philosophy or some other philosophy) are disagreed with I wonder.

Seeing as how the Qunari believes that you are born into a certain role, unless a qunari and other race can produce viable offspring, I have a feeling that they would reject any possible romance. I think the chance for a romance is more likely with a Tal-Vassoth since they reject the qun.

YES!  I loved Sten's character in DA:O that was huge when he called my PC Kadan and for me it's not about the sex really. I would be totally happy with a chaste romance of sorts like what happened with Sebastion in DA2 but I would like for it to SHOW that there was something more than a trust...make sense?

Absolutely - maybe our Qunari partner could offer to clean our weapons? I read a beautiful fic by TinyFierce on FF.net with that. It was beautiful - since the weapon is an extension of the body and soul for warriors, then allowing someone else to care for your armor and armaments is the ultimate expression of trust, respect and love.

I think the Qun is like a lot of factions and religions - if the leaders are fanatics, then the agenda is fanatical. Perhaps over the course of the series we'll be able to temper the Qunari leadership and encourage a more tolerant outlook towards the rest of Thedas.
I don't think the Qunari are evil, just alien to us. I would love to know more about them.

But seriously, I like all of the points you made in your last three posts. I wouldn't care either way of a relationship with a romance with a Qunari/Tal-Vashoth ended with a sex seen, in fact, I think a chaste romance would be far more interesting, as long as the game recognizes is(as in, has an impact on the story like any other romance and gives the obligatory romance trophy achievement, which Sebastien's romance didn't in DA2).

See this thread is about a Kossith LI, after Gaider came in and said that he would like to call both religion AND the race Qunari, it still doesn't change the fact that it's about the race and not the religion or the faction. You can't romance a Qun follower, they don't do romance, there is nothing to romance there in the first place they don't even have enough personality for that. What I and many other people want is a member of a Qunari race to romance. 

Other than that I think I know enough about Qun followers to consider them a pure antagonist and something to be killed on sight.

I get the impression that a lot of people think that the Qunari are physically incapable of feeling romantic love. I don't understand why.

True romantic love is based first and foremost upon friendship. A bond we know they are capable of forming. After that it's just a matter of trust, attraction, and willingness to make a commitment.

Just because civil union or romantic partnerships are not a part of their culture doesn't mean they are incapable of such things. In fact it makes the prospect of exploring these things with a member of their race who has broken away from the Qun even more exciting.

I lean towards female because that's where my personal preferences lie.
