No, Kossith is the name of their race, while Qunari is merely their religion. Same thing as converting to Buddhism doesn't stop you from referring to yourself as a member of the human race?

And I suspect humans wouldn't like to be renamed Neanderthals, considering that Neanderthals were our evolutionary cousins. Aside from some minor interbreeding accounting for about 1-5% Neanderthal DNA present in those of central European descent, we're basically a different species from each other.

But back to the topic...

As long as she has a interesting story, I think that a female Kossith would be an awesome addition.

On the contrary, on embracing the Qun, they cease to be Kossith and become Qunari, as do any members of any race that convert. They are no longer Kossith, have not been since the race took up the Qun as their way of life. The Kossith were a barbaric race, the Qunari are ordered, technological, thinkers. Homologous with the Borg. Qunari isn't a simple faith system, it is a way of life.

Female Qunari, yes, absolutely. As for a LI, an interesting idea, as long as it is included to satisfy a fanboy fetish and has more reason for inclusion. But considering the lore of the Qunari and the place of the females in the Qun, it is unlikely that there will be a suitable backstory to allow for love, and certainly not sex.

having read the lead fiction writers comments, i do believe people effectivly burnt the bridge on this one. pity, i wanted another quanari companion, Sten was one of my favorittes.

She could be a Tal-Vashoth, whose parents were killed at a very young age. She was taken in by humans or elves and raised as one of their own. We've never seen a [insert Qunari race name here] show more emotion or behave outside the Qun. A female Tal-Vashoth removes the limited backstory of the Qun and her being raised outside her race opens up new areas to explore her personalty and display her kind in a new light.

The whole drone thing involving with Qunari is getting old.

Then again, the whole "contrived plot point being conjured just so I can bang a Qunari female" is also a little old.

know this is old. but it's an M rated series, are you REALLY surprised at the sort that are attracted to this sort of thing?

just to stop pestering him. they had already had 3 or 4 talks about it and he was annoyed to start with

did everything about the qunari not lying appear in origins. sten was special he had a small sense of humor so it is possible he did it to get her to shut up

I gave PROOF via the writer of his character that he was just pulling Morrigan's leg. Geez can we get off that topic now. Whether or not there is a kossith romance character is kinda done now. While I would love to see it happen I doubt it will.

I'd be glad as long as we get a female qunari companion, even if she won't be romanceable.

I still hope we'll be able to play as one in the multiplayer aswell, IF multiplayer is included in the game.
