Has there been any word on whether or not Morrigan's ritual will make any mention in DA3? IIRC, it was a very large subplot with monumental implications, but nothing was made of it in DA2.

Of course, not everybody went along with it, but there should be some consequence for those who did (especially if you went through the Eluvian in Witch Hunt).

I figured the only people who knew about the Dark Ritual was The Warden, Morrigan, and possibly Alistar/Loghain. Which means it wouldn't be widely known, if at all really.

The warden could have told someone during Awakening, though. And during Witch Hunt.

Riordan may have done it too.

Clearly the old god baby aged to become an evil mastermind with super powers and time traveled into the past to orchestrate this war and ensure his own rise to power.

More seriously its one of those things that won't be resolved until after the cast of "disappearing heroes" is rounded out and we find out what in the world happened to them.

Mike laidlaw said it won't have a huge light cast on it but it won't be ignored either.David gaider said morrigan would have a normal son with a romanced warden, a ogb if the ritual was completed and so on and so forth.

What about a romanced Warden who did the ritual?

David was rambling in one of the threads earlier about old protagonist (Hawke, warden) getting some closure in Da3 so I'm fairly certain they're gonna find a way to kill both of them off in some grand epic way.

I suspect it's going to be a lot like whether or not you saved the Destiny Ascension in the original Mass Effect: It makes a difference either way but if you aren't paying attention you might miss it.

They can't just kill them off! If they do, I'm gonna feel worried for The Inquisitors life.

I have no doubt how the warden is going to go out - Link ( Skip to 3:34)

If you mean the so-called "Old God Baby" will exist, regardless of whether the player took the Dark Ritual decision in DAO or not-- I can categorically say that this assumption is incorrect.

So, there's that at least. Whether or not it will make a huge difference in the overall plot, who knows?

If my Warden is voiced by Robin Sachs, I could dig going out like that.
