 Ok, so I know that this topic has been posted before but
these glitches/crashes are bad, but I don’t know if Bioware or even EA has even
addressed the issues. I’ve expressed some concerns about the freezing problems
but each was dismissed. At first I thought that my PS3 was dirty and I cleaned
it but the freezing continued. It manifested itself into a screen lock on the
pause screen. When paused I can still move around the “dial” but I can’t select
anything or even resume the game in single player. So now pausing the game is
out of the question. Next when I would go to the procurement station, work
bench, or even the weapons upgrade station nothing shows. I know when I have
gone through the missions and picked up parts the pop up shows that I have
received the item but, when I go to the work bench the mods WILL NOT show. The
mods don’t even show up in multi player! This lead me to the third problem. Now
I know that this particular issue has been discussed and I simply had to put my
two cents in. The disappearance of credits when purchasing packs from the
store. I haven’t purchased them with money, although that is the biggest gripe
in the issue. I have earned the credits and wanted to purchase the specter
packs and at 60000 credits not a quick feat. But, when purchasing them, the “how
do you want to pay for this” screen freezes then, moves to the opening of the
pack. Because I can read what SHOULD be in the pack I try to back out to the stagging screen to no avail. I assume that the log out
and back in thought should work. Oh, how wrong I was! No amount of logging off
brings the contents into my inventory. To make matters worse the credits, now
well over 200,000, have been taken from my in game wallet.

I have to reiterate that I understand that this isn’t new
but I had to try to resolve it if I could so I went into a live chat with the
EA customer support and explained my issues and was in every instance was told
to “post it in the forums”. So here I am. I thought “well so much for ‘customer
support’”. They told me the reason they are pushing my isses to the forums is
because the deal with account and billing issues and screen lock and or screen
crash issues. Hmmm, that seems to me the biggest part of the problems that I’m
having!

 If I understand the
latest patch (1.05) correctly it was meant to fix most, if not all, of the
issues that I am having. But, here I sit not having any of the mods or packages
that I feel I earned. If anyone has gotten anywhere with EA or Bioware on any of
these problems please enlighten me as to the fixes, if any.

Lastly, I went to a friend’s house and tried the game on his
PS3 and amazingly the items were there. I’m starting to have thoughts that my PS3
(40GB reverse compatible verses his slim line) might not be up to par as far as
what his can do. I know that they are different series but I always have the latest
updates and don’t really understand why the items don’t show up on my system but
does on his. I am disappointed if this issue is a game issue. I don’t want to be
someone that swears off the developer because one title is bad but I hope that the
online chat is true and the developers do read this and help fix these issues.
