I mostly play gold and some platinum with my friends list, but sometimes there's only a couple of us, so we'll open it up and hit silver. Sometimes when I'm level 1'ing it I'll hit bronze too, or as a warm up (or if I only need a miniscule amount to hit 20).

With the right people Gold can also be a fun blast. But silver is just right to drop in and have some random fun, that's right.

Had a seriously crappy few games on Gold last night. We extracted, but I really didn't enjoy them. I find I'm only playing them because I get cajoled and persuaded by my friends half the time. Last night I used pretty much all my medi gel, played like a total noob, completely lost any sense of play style I may have had. In short, I was ready to quit altogether. This morning (yes, before work, shhhh...) I played a really good silver with a new friend and a couple of randoms and felt better. I think it's good to remember that this is a game. It's meant to be fun, not stressful, and I'm going to play it as such. So yea. New characters, builds, weapon loadouts... I'll be trying those shamelessly on silver from now on. Maybe I'll get back into Golds again some time. We'll see...

I know what u mean! I played gold last night like a total NooB, with friends none the less.
Silver is much more fun. If I have a bad day at work. I don't want a bad day at gaming. What's the point? I do play gold and platinum as well. But It is hard work.
BTW I feel like they buffed gold without telling us :/

I do the same but in Gold, I play Platinum whenever I want to help my friends get some credits. I enjoy Gold more because all 43 of my characters work on it with all weapons. Platinum kind of forces you into a limited selection of weapons and characters.

It's all about gold and silver, you can use whatever you fancy.
Where platinum is boring boss killing where most stuff doesn't work and people take it farr too seriously.
Though I do wish you could fight multiple races on gold/silver

Honestly Gold and Plat are just too uptight for me. I am a casual gamer. Dont get to play much and when I do I normally dont do MP. Heck the only reason why I even got a gold account is cause ME3MP increased my war asset score (not that it particularly mattered). So when I do play I just chill and enjoy the silvers and bronze games cause heck its fun watching people actually get wtfpwned on bronze and cry for help. Being as casual as I am I am suprised I can hold my own and make top score or top two in gold/plat but the moment you step out of line in those games they start crying and accuse players of being noobs and that we dont deserve to be there. Screw the credits, I just chill and play for kicks.

Try strange bizarre builds and PUG's on Gold, it's so fun and more challenge.

We were always telling to you there is life out of Firebase White Geth and you didn't listen, ladies, you have lost months of pure unaltered joy and replaced it for a tedious brainless grinding but it's not late, ME is waiting for you.

A lot more is viable than isn't.

There's no need to burn consumeable bonus equipment there if you have a good weapon or two. Just slap on some appropriate gear, and you're set.

I just like going into a loby and saying what the hell I will use a DA with a Widow and a Grall and see what happens. or go in and be a boss the entire match. I could do Gold if i wanted to and have on a number of times but it is not fun for me (unless there is a good group of friends playing together) so i play lots of silver just because.

I completely agree with the OP about silver. In fact I was starting a Turian Sentinel last night, so for his first match I went into a Bronze to get the feel for the character. I had two N7 4 drop in with me, it was so much fun running around with someone just learning the game that I ended up playing 4 more matches in Bronze, so they could level up.

See I enjoy this. Some new squirt shows up in bronze and I just hang with them till they get their first 20. Makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside.

I'll farm a plat here and there... gold is fun, but more about bunkering down w/ a squad mate and move smarter...  but yes...   for pure flat out fun I admit whole hearted I enjoy silver.  I can play aggressive and still be team oriented but not entirely team focused...  I can play with weapons and builds that don't make sense (like a wide fully expanding huge arse singularity human adept -- just because it's a huge arse fully expanding singularity)...  Or... a run around the board 100% melee vorcha etc.  For pure lol's and fun, silver is great.  Also sometimes i LIKE to feel overpowered in these days of nerfs/enemy buffs (like running a fury with level 3 adren and power amp gear with a scorpion x and level 3 pistol amp  -or- my ppr destroyer I melt atlases with on gold for super easy atlas kills on silver etc)... 

Totally agree.  Also knocking back down to silver is more casual...  I can sit back and drink a beer in the hack in cover and let the team kill stuff only pop out if they struggle etc.  Silver is fun man... and honestly silver geth are how at launch gold geth use to be so you can still go down if you take it too relaxed.  Honestly with pugs silver is a def sweet spot and ive encountered groups in silver where we rocked it so hard we all went into gold and did great so....  +1 OP!  /Agree
