Most accents when speaking english just sound so funny, as I'm sure english speaking people are to people who speak different languages. Is the main character English of French?
PS. I'm sure my Australian accent would bother some people if I voiced a character they're playing for 60-100 hours.

Really anything but Ferelden & Orlais is fine. Because we've had enough main characters from Ferelden already and French accent for 30 hours straight would be to much to handle (No offence to any french people here lol)

Male main characters should have the sith warrior's voice from SWTOR because it was intimidating and badass. Heres an example: http://www.youtube.c...?v=QKkSUmnM0fg' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>www.youtube.com/watch. although dispite being english it seems like it would be a Tevinter. They had english accents in DAO and I think also in DA2 if i recall so main character should be from Tevinter =D

Yeah mate, after traveling around Hong Kong then EU for seven weeks I had a good couple of laughs at accents. I do acknowledge that knowing more than one language is cool however i'm honest, returning to Australia made me laugh too because I didn't think we were that Aussie when butchering the english language.
Truth hurts alot of people so I was trying to be diplomatic asking my question, wouldn't mind the voice actor for Vegeta from DBZ or Alucard from Hellsing/ultimate.

French.
So hope not, was looking forward to see if BW can do in depth leveling and skill trees for DA3. If the main character is French then I'll have to give this game a pass.

I dont think so, I think they are just French Canadian. But tbh I only remember Leliana, Duke Prosper and all those people voiced by Riordan's voice actor and I can assure you those are all 100% French

No way man, Compare a Sydney accent to a Perth one and they sound alot different. Or even just a city accent with a country one (Mainly for women not so much with men) - Im Aussie btw

Haven't met anyone from sydney yet, the NSW blokes that come to Queensland to work in the mines with us don't sound any different. Old bloke from perth sounds roughly the same but that may have something to do with him working in Queensland almost as long as he lived in Perth.
PS. NRL refs are corrupt, someones making money off those calls.

Fake as "Wow, i'm american (or english, or welsh or wahtever..) and 'i'll tried to make a french accent "
Ok, i have to admit that french accent can be awfull, but not as awfull as Marjolaine's.. or that guy with his Bone Pit.

East London.
If the PC is Orlesian, and the Orlesian language is French, then it makes sense for the PC to speak with a French accent. Preferably the VAs will actually be French aswell. Whatever, I hope Bioware don't resort to American.

They all sound funny though when speaking english, the degree of hilarity will be different but it will still sound funny. on topic though, is there proof its going to be "French" accent or not?

Personally I'd prefer American, sounding something like Keano Reeves accent.
