I figure we're gonna play another Ferelden by some twist of fate, or someone who has an English accent. I have nothing against a slight French accent or anything but I just don't see it happening. Anybody know if Tevinters have a specific accent?

Assassin's Creed proved that a protagonist can have an accent and still be widely popular. I say bring on the Orlesian PC ! (I am French myself so that should be interesting...)

Honestly, I don't mind if our character is orlesian or not... I just want a french VA if he is.
Well, I want a good story too, and hundred hours of playing ^^
I(m not even sure my computer will play DA3 ...

I think a real french accent would be nice. No one has problems understanding Leliana.

Obviously some of the accents were made to sound pompous because they were supposed to cast the character in a negative light.

Well, even though the game takes place in Orlais that does not mean the main character will necessarily be Orlesian. If he/she is, I'm sure that they will try not to make it a thick accent.
