Long hair?
Any chance the tactical disadvantage of having long hair would be included?
Yes,it looks nice and all,but serious drawbacks to long hair on a battlefield.
Hey! The Dothraki have long hair and still kick some tail... er... sorry, wrong series XD.
If Game of Thrones is wrong then I don't want to be right. Earlier Gaider said that if you boil them down you can make any character into a stereotype. He needs to read/watch this.

And I want a nice, low ponytail. Fable 2 managed it and it's one of my favourite hairstyles there, clipping be damned. (And Fable 3 has hair that looks far more plastic than DA's on a bad day... I suppose it could always be worse.)

I thought there were a couple long hairs for women? And a couple shoulder length hairs for men (the Zevran hair, for instance). As for clipping, Isabela has long hair, and it looks find no matter what outfit you put her in. Unless you put her in heavy armor, I guess, which I haven't done.
But yes, the more the merrier. And how about curly hair? And hair that would look more natural on a Black PC.
And just better hair in general for guys. So much of it looks like the hairstyles from 80s fantasy movies like Ladyhawke.
Im with you on this. Curly hair that looks good and natural on my black PC, and definitely "cooler" hairtstyles overall for the guys.

Or if creating long hairstyles takes up too much money/resources, just release a toolset and let the players do it as they did with DA:O. Pretty please?
Console player here, toolsets are fine for PC and stuff, but I think I can speak for the console players who want long hair when I say-
Just try to implement it in the game.

Of course, if it came to a tradeoff between having MP or long hair in SP?
I'd still have to say give us long hair

Also I like the fishtail braid my new warden has
<-----
Hinting at long hair with a few cute wisps.
The male brad from Fable 2 was the only hairstyle for my Male pc.

I would never use, since I always make my characters bald.

I suppose I support being able to have long hair.

Thank you for having a positive and support attitude for a feature you wouldn't use.
Wish more folks were like that.

In such a case, I DEFINITELY want Bioware to take advantage of it and create flowing long hair.

Ponytail and Wizard Hat combo = Best.I used that Fable 2 ponytail actually, hahaha
Uhm.. Yeah, longer hair in general would be nice. I have long hair myself and it would be nice to see the option in Dragon Age 3 so that I can finally create the kind of mage that I truly envisioned playing in Origins.
Ponytails though, are top of my list.... Along with Wizard Hats.
Uh, yeah. Support from me, would be great to see longer hairstyles.
Also, better curls... >.>

I personally think that smiling does much better for a face than perfect teeth.

The 'Clipping issue vs. Long hair' argument reminds me somewhat of people who never smile in hopes they will hide forever their uneven dentition...

In other words, you're one for long hair.

There was a male braid? I only remember the one that came with the See the Future DLC and that one always gave me crossdressing points. I actually have the thumbnails for a mini comic wher Sparrow complains about that to Reaver and Reaver takes that as "Dress me up in women's clothes and ravish me plz" lying around.
But I still support long hair styles. And I especially support practical looking long hair styles -- while there are a lot of nice looking ones from modders in DAO (though unfortunately most of the really pretty ones are only for females), some of them do make me wonder why the Warden -- or any PC -- would run around with a hair style that looks like the one my cousin's wife had on their wedding day.
