I want Morrigan's hairdo! Some of the hairstyles in DA 2 were just scary! Morrigan's updo is pretty, feminine and entirely practical for combat. I really want her hair for the next DA!

Indeed! What I meant was : I don't care about the clipping issue. Rigid hair or forced short hair issues are much worse for me.
I would love to see the next main protagonist going with a choice of long, curly, braided, pony-tailed, moving and following physics hairstyles... (preferably natural looking than the anime styles that look much better on anime faces, imho.)
...All along with a button you could press in-game to tie or untie it when needed!

Also, about men's long hairstyle it reminds me of words attributed to Lycurgus (spartan lawgiver) by Plutarch, which said something along the line : 'Spartans should keep their hair long because it makes the handsome men more beautiful and the ugly ones more frightening...'

Uhm... I wouldn't really care, my girls are usually short-haired and I even had a bold one but... I think more hairstyles'd be great as new tattoos... so why no long hair?

I hope my hair grows out that long. Right now it's just at the base of my neck, and I constantly have to tie it back into a ponytail for work -- along with putting so much **** in it that I have to take a second shower on my work days just to get it to feel like hair again.

Yeah, hair THAT long in game? A little much. But it'd be cool if they found a way to get hair that long in the game.

I want...nicer ponytails.

I was happy with femHawk's "low" ponytail (the only default hairstyle I loved compared to other hairstyles in other games--props to you DA) , but it would be nice to have more variations...like bangs for example. 


Say no to buns!  Say yes to fabulous ponytails!

I just want longer hair in general. I'm so tired of short styles. Even ponytails don't cut it anymore in some games. I was disappointed in DA2's choices for FemHawke's hair.

And having long hair bulge off of someone's head like in ME3 does NOT count. Ack.

Longer hair would be nice if I didn't have to mod it into a game for once(I'm sick of buns in games like you wouldn't believe).

Buns aren't bad, but they're overdone like hell.

Ponytails? Not enough of them. There are many kinds of ponytails they can have available.

I'd love a long ponytail with perhaps a little swinging hair over an eye or two. That'd be nice.

I think Dragon Age drew heavily on George R.R. Martin's books for their inspiration.  Though they don't seem to have incorporated the flowing tresses

Long hair would be nice, if clipping issues can be avoided, I'd be happy if my male characters could have hair that goes slightly past their shoulders. The maximum hair length in Skyrim is just right, though I hope the hair won't be us ugly as it is in Skyrim.
