EVERY LI BETRAYS YOU. Perfect tag line for DA3.

Eh, I got over it with Quinn. I wouldn't actually mind a LI betraying my character.

Okay, I would, but if it added to the story, I'd get over it very quickly.

But as to the topic, yes. I'd still buy DA3 if it had no romance. I adore the romance, and I'd miss it, but it's not The Reason I play Bioware games.

Bioware romances to me are like the added seasoning on a cooked and prepared steak.

They make it better, but they aren't necessary. I'd be fine with a game that had no romances.

Cook the steak well enough and it doesn't need anything added to it.

I would still play the game (I play other RPGs without romances) as long as the story is good. Saying that, I kinda missed the romance element in Awakening. I just think it adds a little something to the game in terms of character interactions (of the verbal kind).

Ofcourse. I sometimes go with romances just to get few extra scenes and all that. It's just extra content for me.

Pfft when are you gonna stop this ra-ra love nonsense?

Why would I stop when I know it irks you so? :D

Having said that, I'll stop when you cheer up and stop being such an old negative nelly poo-poo head.

Oh wait... <_<

I would but the romances help with my immersion in the game and make the choices I make matter a bit more.

But yes, still would, if it had good friendships at least. If it suddenly removed that too, then no. :P

Yeah, but ever story about a John Lennon girlfriend ended with "she was crying in a corridor with a black eye".  So not the best band to be quoting.

Its sales would crash through the basement, but only if known beforehand.

LP, because of this very calm and level-headed approach to romance content, you can have all all the romance content you want.

I'm going to put that in my signature even though there's not enough space to see it.

If DA3 didn't have romance then how will the legions of virginal girl next doors and straightup-goingtothefloor gamers cope? A BioWare game without romance options is like a Call of Duty came without shooting. It cannot exist. But if it did then I'm sure that thousands of people would kill themselves because they need to be connected in a relationship with their ingame waifu or husbando else they may go crazy and attack someone.

I think I would play it, but I would be terribly wroth with no love stories. It is one of the DA Empire's best assets-storytelling. It is easier to, no pun intended, to fall in love with a game if you can immerse yourself into it emotionally or connect in some way. Shooting games? Fun yes. But I won't stay up until 4am playing them because I must absolutely know what is going to happen between Jane and John.Maybe it is because I am a woman and therefore weak to such things. But I don't see the harm in having romance plots.

I swooned a little. His character was so much more romantic (to me, anyway) in the play than in the book.
