As the title says, do the developers for Dragon Age also read the constructive criticism of Mass Effect?

I doubt it, considering how many posts there are here every few minutes they don't have time to go look at ME also, especially since that would at best be redundant since people will post whatever they posted in ME here also if applicable.

I'm sure they at least heard something about the ending controversy. But then, pretty much everyone heard about the ending controversy.

There was at least 1 DA dev (or someone with the BW tag that worked with DA) that was posting on the ME3 boards. It would be impossible to not know what went on with that game.

Let's just hope DA3 doesn't have a story mode that makes all your choices for you...lol. I'm more concerned about whether they are reviewing the DA2 criticisms because there's no way they could've missed the fallout from ME3.

Well at least they know now not to do an ending like ME3 did.

Which means... what, exactly?

Your choice of suicide for a singular ending sequence filled with speculations, :wizard: , complete lack of closure and not so hidden references to garden of eden + messiah complexs.

I think that about covers the OE.

EDIT:

IMO of course. I really don't want to derail this thread, so I'll just say that I'm sure they've taken what's been said into consideration.

Also Allan was a bro coming over and hanging out with us in the weeks leading up to the EC.

Don't destroy the future of your franchise.

Don't commit narrative suicide.

1. Not having a new character appear in the last 10 minutes to explain everything.
2. Ending the game with the same themes and genre that it started with.
3. Maintaining narrative coherence.  That means the ending needs to make bloody senses!

Don't do meth while writing, and retroactively claim it to be an artistic statement. Don't get petty if people call you out. Don't promise things you never had any intend to keep.

He's quite aware.  He followed ME3 closely.
