And then came Witch Hunt.
And then came no answers, only more questions.
And then came...DA3?

I mean, I love her to death, but I can think up my own headcanon just fine, thank you. I just don't want my little Warden/Morrigan/OGB familly screwed up. D:

So I was close at 10ish:wizard:. I was about to go back and try to link the dates, glad someone knows it.Maclimes wrote...
The events of Dragon Age: Origins being in the year 9:30, and end in 9:31. So she likely gives birth near the end of 9:31. Witch Hunt takes place in 9:33, so the child is around 1 or 2 at this point.
Dragon Age 2 ends in 9:37, so the child would actually be 6 (a correction on my earlier guess).
Varric's interrogation, however, is actually taking place later, in 9:40, so the child is 9 when Varric is telling his tale.
The way Cassandra talks, the world is on the brink of war, meaning it hadn't really started yet. So we can probably assume DA3 takes place shortly after this, in 9:40 or 41 or so.
Also, in Witch Hunt, Morrigan confirms the child is male, making his likelihood as the PC very small.
I'm not sure where you got this idea from, Morrigan was only mentioned once in the entire game.Kurt-Niisan2 wrote...
Yeah, I wanna see what happens to Morrigan in DA3. It looked like there was going to be a massive build up to it in DA2, and then... nothing (most likely because all the DLC fell through.)
Resolutions to storylines plz, people!

Ahh, my bad. I forgot that DA:O and DA2 occur side-by-side. I just remember that Flemeth was talking about Morrigan when you deliver the necklace to her, atop the mountain.obZen DF wrote...

I think he means a build up when Witch Hunt happened, setting a tone for DA2. And then nothing.

Yes.
I mean, f**k yes. One of the biggest subplots from Origins (both games, rather) just left dangling. It would be a shame if it was never resolved in any way.
She tells a female Warden in a romance with Alistair that Riordan has had the taint too long for it to work she needs a Warden where the taint is still somewhat new when you tell her to ask him to do it.Maclimes wrote...
Something that's always confused me: Assuming a male Warden in DA:O...
Morrigan asks Warden to do the Ritual. If he says no, she asks you to convince Alistair/Loghain to do it. If he says no, why doesn't she approach them independently? Or, better yet, Riordan?
In fact, consider this: What if the ritual only prevents the Warden's death if that Warden is the one to slay the archdemon? Then maybe if the Warden turns down Morrigan, she DOES do the ritual with Riordan, who is killed early in the fight. Therefore when the Warden/Alistair/Loghain kills the archdemon, that warden still dies, but Morrigan gets the OGB. In that case, is there any scenario in which Morrigan can't have the OGB? Did I miss something, or am I just reaching here?
