No. Don't care where she crawled off to. Don't make her a damn central element or that brat that didn't exist in most of my playthroughs.

Also, I shanked her in one playthrough but Bioware has a habit of bring back the dead ala Anders and Leliana. >:|

Can't it be simple? If the play through you upload has an OGB outcome then they can program in a glimpse of the kid and his mom. If you denied Morrigan then you just get a cameo with just her. If you killed her in WH, then it's someone else. Morrigan travels almost as much as her mother so no big deal if she shows up somewhere for a few minutes, with or without optional kid and optional Warden in tow.

And obviously I'm betting cameo, maybe a side mission at most. I seriously doubt they'd bring her back as a companion. I do however wonder if Gaider has something else planned for her in the (possibly far) future, especially considering events from Silent Grove.

The only thing I want is to know why Morrigan wanted an old god soul.

i always assumed it was to help her kill Flemeth.

I'd assume it was because she disagree with what Flemeth intended to do with the OGB and has her own plan for truly setting things right.  Whatever that may be.

it wouldnt be anything more than a cameo

A cameo is an irrelevent consequence to a player's choice.  They've already stated that those that did do the DR and had an OGB would receive a relevent consequence to their gaming experience at some point, if not in this game then later.  Just as they said that those who didn't do the DR would be respected in their choice and not have to play out that extended storyline.

I'd love to see it, but I'm not going to expect anything so that I'm not disappointed as I was in DA2, especially in regards to a lot of the retconing goings on. Maker willing, I will be pleasantly surprised with the next DA installment.

I want more than a glimpse, and I believe we've been promised that, I have a quote stored somewhere on my computer from a Q&A session last year.

Now, before I copy & paste these quotes here, note that BioWare might very well have just shrugged these off and went in a completely differect direction, but here they are, regarding the OGB aswell as some other things I see alot of people screaming for:
_______
-The decision of whether to have a set character in the style of DA2, or multiple origins a la Dragon Age: Origins will be based on fan feedback. (So it seems like it'll be multiple origins IF they follow fan feedback, and IF they still stand by this quote)

-Melo stated that Morrigan was critical to the world, and so is Warden, therefore we will definitely be hearing about them or seeing more of them in the future. (this was an answer to a question i asked lol so proud #1)

-Melo dodged question about Sandal’s prophecy in DAII coming true or not.

-Grey Wardens are a “pillar” to what’s going on in Dragon Age.

-We will definitely see Flemeth again.

-The team will try to resolve the situation regarding the “Old God Baby”, and will try and show fans what happened regarding the child. (sounds pretty weak, I hope they do something more than this :@, then again, it also makes sense, seems like Morrigans existance is MORE important than the existance of an old god baby, hence why the old god baby is not canon but Morrigan being alive seems to be the case)

-Future content will see the same companions and love interests return. (I don't remember if they meant ''after'' DA2 or for future DA2 DLC, and I don't know which one it sounds most like lolwat)

-“Time will tell” whether or not we will ever see Par Vollen or “a few other cities.”

That at least sounds really promising. One can only hope.

Sure. But someone else a day or two ago said that the OGB would be the Rachni decision of DA3. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was.

Still makes me sad to think about... even after the Extended Cut there was no improvement.

I would be. ME and DA are completely different teams.

morrigan only got stabbed in 1 of my playthroughs, and i felt awful for doing it, but seriously i wouldnt want the ogb choice handwaved, now having morrigan come back i wouldnt mind, but there are certain companions i did not like and told to leave my party that i dont want to see again, same with da2, so really i would prefer new companions, a new protagonist with no tie to any of the plots from dao, unless its the warden or hawke they are tied to, but not any of the companions no thanks

I feel sorry for your Warden when she comes back.  Did you see actually die or just fall backwards into the mirror?  Yup.

Yes, I would like to see the baby, but not yet.
As for the age of the baby, that's not really an issue. We don't know how fast time travels through the Aluvian, so he could still be a baby, he could have grown up to a nice companion/Player Character age or he's grown old and died already.
If Morrigan is making a return though then I'll imagine he'll at least get referenced.

i'd rather a cameo, or reference than a handwaved forced thing, not that it matters to me personally because i only have 2 saves that i didnt do the dr, but i want them to be treat just as important as the 1's i did do the dr, and i seriously do not want to play as a ogb, if anything i want something new with a total fresh background, with no forced dao or da2 ties

Well i personally don't want to -see- her and/or the baby. I find that I have no connection with the character like I do for others and that if it suits my warden Id be friends with her or romance her basically just like her for that play through and that's it... To me her story is over. She can have her baby but why should I care what happens to it or how she brings it up? Why does her story have to continue just because she has a baby? The new protagonist most likely has no ties to it or Morrigan and therefore unless its destroying the world I doubt they have any reason to go out searching for her and I doubt Morrigan is out searching for the protagonist either because she wants to be left alone.

Aren't we getting to the point where we shouldn't be referring to the child as the Old God Baby so much as the Old God Tween?

Okay, okyay.  Let's not give them any ideas.  The DA plot is confusing enough as it is right now without bringing in time travel.

"My" Warden didn't help "make" any OGB, so no.

Granted there is a normal Morrigan-Warden kid in that save, but he ain't got no old god in him.

I would like to see Morrigan and the OGB make their return. Should be optional, for those that chose to partake in the Dark Ritual, but should be there. Don't believe the OGB should be your main protagonist, but a significant part of the story, be it as an ally or follower(or substantial side-quest).

Regarding the age of the OGB; like some said before me, there's no way of telling how old the OGB would be when he would walk out of whatever place he's being raised. Could certainly be possible that time passes differently in whatever plain they resided. Personally I would just like to see my Wardens offspring.. be it as a kid or whatever-age-qualifies-him-as-a-potential-follower.

Personally, i'd be very happy if I got to see my son with Morrigan. To everyone saying they didn't do the ritual, Morrigan still had a child if you romanced her and if you didn't romance her at all she could've easily found another man to give her a child. Either way I think Morrigan and her child are very crucial to the Dragon Age plot as well as Flemeth. I definitely want to see my lovely Swamp Witch again and I definitely want to see my Old God Baby, maybe in future games he'll be a playable character, that'd be sweet.
