I am torn on this. On one hand I would love to see Morrigan, but I dont want to run into her and have her act like everything that went on my DAO game did not happen.

I don't just want a glimpse, I want the story wrapped up. Witch Hunt offered nothing essentially on the subject despite promises and I think it's about time after DA2 having nothing to do with that storyline. I really don't want to see that story dragged out to Dragon Age 4 or 5.

I'm really apprehensive about the idea of seeing the OGB. I think that the OGB storyline, when further written in-depth, will either be handled really, really well, or really, really poorly. Either Morrigan and the OGB turn the DA series upside down, or my worries/concerns are for nothing.

Whether "glimpsing" the OGB, and having Morrigan return will be a good thing or not, only time (and actually playing the game) will tell. Somehow, I bet we won't see them till Dragon Age 4, since DA3 will be about the feud between mages and templars, and how the Chantry - and Thedas - deals with the situation.

The sad thing is that this is one of the most interesting and open plot threads that could be in Dragon Age 3, but since it was optional I don't see how it could be implemented properly....
A brief cameo probably wouldn't satisfy most, but if it was a major plot thread in some games people would complain unless there was an alternative for those who hadn't done it, which would mean lots of extra work.
Maybe just put it in DA3 and if make it the default for new non-imported characters, and if OGB didn't happen in DAO just say that Flemeth did something else much more complicated that leaves the OGB and her much weaker - kinda like the Rachni in ME3, although I know a lot of people didn't like that as well

Is this mysterie going to be resolved in DA3? Or at least partially? I can only hope. It's one of my most anticipated events regarding Dragon Age. To me, it felt like the biggest choice from DA:O, with a voice in my head saying: "Oh, the implications are going to be huge!"

And then came Witch Hunt.

And then came no answers, only more questions.
And then came...DA3?:o

For playthroughs in which the baby is an Old God Baby, sure. I have a Mage Warden who romanced Morrigan, got her pregnant sometime during Origins, but turned down the Dark Ritual so that he could sacrifice Alistair. Witch Hunt revealed the existence of the baby and Morrigan's dialogue confirmed that the Warden refused the ritual, but somehow survived.  So yeah, regular baby in that case, unless Morrigan was somehow able to absorb the essence of the Archdemon w/o the Dark Ritual.

However, my first playthrough ever featured a OGB fathered by Teyrn Loghain. I'm open to the possibility of the OGB showing up, if BioWare decide to do anything with it. Also, the OGB can't really be central to the main plot of any game unless the writers decide to canonize that aspect, which I hope they don't.

I personally don't. I don't see the point right now since the story is focusing on something bigger.

I had my Magi Warden romance her in the game so I am interested to see how the OGB is raised by a Circle Mage and a Witch of The Wilds.
