In some cases the players may not have spoken English or perhaps some were not listening to voice chat. Anyway, spent a several hours trying to get a pug to do the squad goal.

Eventually, got a group of us who readied up as Krogan, went private on team and started the match. A Quarian male joined us in the first wave. OK, not a problem, we'll get it next match.

One got disconnected in the lobby after the match, so no problem, our Quarian became a Krogan and off we went. We had a Batarian join us in the middle of the second wave. Arrrrg. No problem, we'll get it the next match.

Lose another to connections in the lobby after the match. OK, let's make it public and ask whoever joins us to switch to Krogan. First person thinks about it for a few seconds and departs. Second person switches over to Krogan and away we go.

After wave 10 completed, I reminded everyone that we had to have full extraction. No problem. Four Krogans headbutting in the middle of the LZ as the timer went to zero, full extraction. Cerberus never stood a chance. FOR TUCHUNKA.

yeah that would be suckage, thats why during early discussion I was saying on the forums people need to set up these as private matches because you have to be damn lukcy if someone from your group drops and you somehow managed to get the same race to join up in a public match.

I had a hard time getting some of the dudes to change their race to meet the rest of the lobby at the beginning of the operation, but as it went, people understood and changed and it was a lot of fun. I still have 4 races to go (drell, quarian, salarian, asari) but if it's as fun as the first, that's gonna be good.
We've done our share so far. Only played cerberus, and during the extraction, it's missile galore. We killed at least 20 atlases per match on silver.

You know I'll give the bioware team an communication reward if they ever can give out instructions on these events where NO one is confused. more often than not they need to reclarify stuff they posted.

I cant find a game where people realize all players have to be SAME species. Im getting all nonhuman games, but people dont listen. They swear its just non human. There is going to be a poop ton of 'where is my comm pack?' next week threads.

Im on right now. GT same as forum. Xbox. Got all classes at 20 if somebody is looking for a game.

I did multiple same race games. I had all geth lobby, all asari lobby, all salarian lobby, even all batarian game(although I left that one before extraction as I was playing salarian) and of course all krogan lobby. But no quarian lobby so far. On the other hand, people seem to be in love with krogans, which I really do not enjoy to play. Krogans...krogans everywhere

That might be me.  I was stupid enough to get sliced by phantom during salarian game on extraction wave. And it didn´t cross my mind that I could just leave the game and they would get full extraction.

Crazy how ill-informed, indifferent, and/or stupid randoms have been so far... I think they just don't give a damn. I've only had 3 lobbies out of I don't know how many agree on one race without some [whatever] readying with the wrong class and not enough people to kick. Of those three games, the first one was all Krogan and the guy who kept dieing managed to get executed by an Atlas Wave 11, the second one I got disconnected Wave 6 (all Krogan), and the third one was all (N7) humans on Jade where the moronic host got himself killed, alone, in front of an Atlas & co. with 15 seconds left.

There is a thread (BioWare made it a sticky for the duration of the op) on BSN MP forum about the splash screen being misleading. I started playing before the splash screen went up, apparently the splash screen was at best misleading and maybe even wrong (especially at least one of the non-English versions). It explains why I had so much trouble early on convincing multiple pugs to ready up as one race. The folks must have thought I was a lunatic or an idiot, because what I was telling them did not agree with the splash screen. Eventually was able to get four people readied up as Krogan and we got a full extraction.

Pugs are probably not populated by idiots, just folks mislead by a bad splash screen. I'm thinking most of them don't come here to read all the gory details, they are just going by what the splash screen tells them.

Aint done it, not a single lobby with all the same race(except 1 bloody human one) no splash screen on ps3 so didnt expect much better, hope for better luck tomorrow but doubt it

I just completed my squad goal with three fellow Krogan. After spending the afternoon looking for a group, I finally stumbled onto a Krogan Sentinel, a Kroguard and a Krogan Soldier. I suited up as a Krogan Soldier and we ended up in Firebase Glacier, Reapers, Bronze.

They didn't stand a chance. No deaths, finished in 12 minutes

I got two other gold players, one of them kroguard, one of them krogan sentinal, and me as krogan soldier, we went onto Firebase Ghost, cerberus, bronze, and we owned it in about fifteen minutes. Then I enjoyed the rest of my day playing minecraft. :3

Found a good group of randoms willing to compromise. First I went in with a Quarian Male, in the lobby was a Turian, Korgan and a Batarian. 2 of us went Krogan the other 2 went Batarian...then we all went Batarian and massive sans-lube violations occured on FB Hydra...no one was spared.

4x Asari DONE. Person in lobby was under the impression we only needed two of the same class. Ty BioWarez!

After trying to find a PUG for about 20 mins with a lobby that would actually cooperate, I got 4x salarians vs cerberus. 2 Infiltrators and 2 Engineers. Was pretty fun, no enemy had their shields for very long.
