Ah, yes, "Horses, cloaks and capes, the old mantra" we have dismissed that claim... Or we had, till Frostbite 2.
Is there any chance that the new engine will resurrect the chances to see the Old Vile Triumvirate of Doom in action?
Horses, Cloaks and Capes. Possible with Frostbite?

Maybe there'll be bowstrings. Maybe.

Would be cool. I also want to dress my rogue up like a ninja.

Horses isn't really about the engine. It's more about having places where it actually makes sense to ride them.
Cloaks and capes might be related, if the engine makes applying physics to them easier.

That, and what do you do with the horses when you go underground or into buildings?

Seconding bowstrings.
And if rideable animals are not on the menu, I'd like to see the return of ambient fauna. Chickens/livestock in markets, birds, etc.

The idea of bowstrings makes me quiver. Yes please.

I'm just going to leave this there.
But yeah, it would be nice to see livestock again. The world seemed kinda weird with no four-legged animals besides mabari.

Big billowing cloaks would be fun, especially if they're rendered with a real time physics engine.

I would love to see cloaks and bowstrings.
Horses would be nice, but the way BioWare's level design works means that there's not much call for mounts, and if they put unridable horses in the game people would complain endlessly.

Why not fix *that* problem too while we're at it?

I think they ought to have horses standing around in our camp at night.
With all sorts of saddles and tack next to them.
You know, giving the impression that we've been riding them.
But not actually letting us ride them.
This would greatly amuse me.

It should be possible with the current engine too. Drakensang has all of the above, and that game came out around the same time as DA did. Looks very very simmilar too.
