I liked DA2, I didn't mind armor thing, not the repeating areas or any other microscopic nitpick anyone on the internet happens to have, but the most dissapointing thing for me was the lack of origin storys like in um...Origins. I could go on for hours but my main point is: Can I be a dalish again?

well this is the one I found so I hope they make a return if not in the original game what if they made a series of DLC entitled origins that allow you to boot up a new game and play through an origin with minor dialogue tweaks throughout the rest of the game. Your origin in DAO was only referenced rarely so they could do it without too much hassle and create a bit of a moneymaker. I only throw that out there because I remember reading back when DA2 was new that origins was a DAO only experiment and probably would not be returning, I do not know if that was a DA2 only comment or true of the rest of the series but I found the variety of origins to make for extremely gratifying roleplaying.

You seem very complacent with repetitiveness & lack of customization, among many other things.

doubt it

they've been in "no comment zone" so far.

but it would be easier for them to not, so i doubt it.

which still makes me grind my teeth, but we all have something that does, so...meh

I didn't like DA2 that much, I'd love to see a return to what DAO was, especially the option to choose your race, origin as well if possible. I'd hardly call reusing the same dungeon for 75% of the game's cave/dungeon areas microscopic, DA2 just had a very rushed feel with an emphasis on cutting every possible corner. I liked the origins, even if they were just a short intro, it really helped give the character a unique feel. I'd also like to see the managing of your companion's gear brought back as well, DA2 just felt too much like a mindless button masher, instead of a good rpg. I worry though with the direction bioware has gone over the last few years, the games now all have to be mainstreamed to get as many sales as possible, I really hope the effort is put into making DA3 a solid rpg, not just another forgetable button masher.

Origins really didn't have as much customization as people claim it does.

I certainly hope so. It wouldn`t surprise me if we don`t, though.

My gut says no. The fact that nothing's been said about it says possibly.

I hope we do but I think it will be a fixed Inquisitor. Probablt Human again.

If we get to choose race/origin I want a Dalish Elf

No I don't. To each his own right? Besides, most of us just gave the best armor for our class to ourselves and whatever was left went to our companions. Anyways thisis off topic.

I dont think there will be different origins. We will most probably be playing a human PC. But what Bioware may do is give different background stories for each class. E.g.

Warrior
-------------
Nobel
Commoner
Soldier

Mage
---------
Apostate
Rebel Circle
Faithful Circle

Rogue
-----------
City Thief
Scout

etc etc.....
