Please, for DAIII give us back more choices/vairiety for classes and companions (dual weild warriors, healing mages, etc).

I felt like this was where Dragon Age II took a major step back, rather a leap back.

in Dragon Age: Origins there was a lot more freedom.

I LOVED the warriors, mainly the bersker route with dual wielding. it was so much fun to wear heavy armor, be able to take damage (not quite as much as Alistair with his tank focus, but still a good amount) and dish out so much dmg.

in dragon age 2, they took away dual wielding for warriors, made it rogues only. Hoewver thieves aren't good at wearing armor,  and aren't focused on being at the front, like the warriors, I wanted to stand toe to toe and whack away in a fury at my enemeis, none of that whimpy backstabbing stuff.

So basically, they took away the one class I Loved in DA:O and I was stuck with going a warrior with a two hander, it just wasn't the same.

Then you had compainions. It hit them two fold.

First you could no longer outfit them in whatever you wanted, only specific character items. Ok I get that they may have wanted the characters to "look" a certain way. I mean dressing morrigan in a chantry outfit didn't fit her character. However shouldn't this be something left up to the player? It took away so many choices for our compainons in terms of armor variety/looks.

A better idea imo would be to give us a simple "skin" tab. How some mmo's work. Where you can basically  have two outfits, one for the "stats" it offers and then one as a "skin." You could have it sot hat you can outfit your compaion (or it could also be done for the pc, so if you find armor you really really like teh look of and don't want to change it because something else has better stats) you simply have two eqippable slots in the inventory, one for a "skin" tab which you can then toggle on/off and then the other  (which will be shown if there's no outfit in the skin tab).

This solves both problems while offering the player the choices they had back. Two birds with one stone.

Moving on to the other side, building your companions.

In DA:O you had pretty much free reign over this area. They started out in a certain area but you could build them how you wanted for the most part. You want to make Alistair a walking tank? Go ahead, you want to make him more of a dps? Be my guest, ti's your choice. You want to use Morrigan in your party and Lelianna but then you have no healer? Why not spec Morrigan into healing? Your choice.

DA:II, you weren't given this free reign to spec all characters how you wanted. You want a healer? TAKE ANDERS. You don't like Anders and aren't a mage yourself? TOUGH LUCK! NO SOUP FOR YUO!!!!1 err Heals, no heals for you!

I would like to see these choices come back for DAIII, Let wariors dual weild again, let use have more free control over how we both build and outfit our compaions.

Don't force us to have to take a specific companion or remove choices for classes we already had.

This is a single player rpg, player choice should be important. Having a dual wielding wariror doesn't impact rogues viabilty, or vice versa. The more player choices the better.

I agree 100 percent. The way they did it in DA2 was close to gamebreaking.

Deep Roads. PC is an archer. Varric can`t be removed, so now we have 2 archers. You want Bethany to end up as a warden, and would therefore have to bring Anders along. Thats 2 archers and 2 mages. Good luck with that when playing on a high difficulty...
