the likelyhood of a Kotor 3 in the future is slim at best

Many of my ideas do incorapted some of my fanon characters and ideas from the Kotor 1 Remake Thread

Chapter 1:

Default:

Revan is single and believed dead at large.

Mission is with Zaablar at his own world If both surived.

Bastila, Jolee and Juhani is at the Jedi Temple at Core World(if they surived)

Carth is still with the fleet

Canderous, Hk-47, T3-M4 and Seviole(fanon character ex sith assassin turned Geoharadan and yes it is a long story between Seviole and Revan)

Revan and T3-M4 are hiding out in the slums of Coursant. T3-M4 gets a message from Canderous, Hulas(geoharadan guild master) or Seviole depending on your actions of Kotor 1 Remake.

Massive explosions occurs, killing a lot of innocent people. there is a Republic Black ops team on speeders gunning people down.

Then Canderous, in dark jedi gear and a red lightsaber on a speeder, helps attack the Republic Black Ops team.

Revan lampshades why in the Hell that Canderous has a lightsaber. Canderous and Revan talks about bounty on the ebon hawk posted by the Republic.

Yes there is a Jedi Master on the Jedi Council that did involved in the dealings with the True Sith Empire. As well as a few corrupted Admirals and Senators.

Chapter endings with the crew safe, Corrupted Jedi Masters(there are a few of them had have a grudge against him ), Corrupted Admirals, Corrupted Senators are all dead.

Fates Gold:

Carth: Admiral
Bastila: Married to Another Force User(from the Kotor 1 Remake) and working for Carth as a go between the Republic Fleet and the Jedi Order
Zaablar: In Business with Mission; Trade between his world and the core worlds
Mission: In Business with Mission
Jolee: Jedi Master and Council Member
Juhani: Jedi Shadow Commander and In charge of her own Jedi Shadow Unit
Hk-47: Revan's bodyguard
Canderous: Mandalorian Contact
T3-M4: Revan's Contact between all ebon Hawk
Seviole(fanon Character): Genoharadan Contact.

Enemy Types:
Jedi(both light and Dark)
Republic Black Ops

Chap 2:

No matter what you do, you are in the Jedi Temple, Looking for the Jedi Exile. Hidden Character Creator. Can engage Atris in a Rival romance.

Default Jedi Exile:

First Name: PLace your Name here

Last Name: Sunrik

Appearance: extremely long brown hair(passed her waist), Crystal blue eyes, Pale Skin, Height: 5'11''. Weight: 140lbs

Martial art: Master of Broken Gate

Lightsaber forms Masteries: Shiico Mahaski and Soresu

Jedi class: Jedi Guardian

Yes Jedi Exile is a Romance option for all Male Revans. And so is Revan's Former Jedi Master Arren Kae.

Yes there will be answered whom is Arren Kae/Kreia debate in this verison. NO Arren Kae is not Kreia but they are related. Arren Kae is much taller than Kreia and much prettier.

more too come

Ahh its always fun to throw around a few ideas!
So... Think it would be interesting to start the game as Bastila's child. That would put you right at center of the Jedi revival. This would also bring you into immediate contact with the past companions of the previous two games, who are rebuilding the order. It would also be interesting if your character is not a force user & could not ever become one... Just becuase its Star Wars doesn't mean you get the cool laser sword.

There would be a short introduction of the character trying to discover more about their history... Why is Bastila around but not their mysterious father? Why can't they feel the force like everyone else around them can? That would allow us to discover whats been going on in the galaxy & reveal alittle more about the Jedi's place in the scheme of things.

The central theme is one carried over from the previous games. That the galaxy doesn't understand or trust the Force...& can't even really tell the difference between the Jedi & Sith. People blame the Jedi for the past conflicts. Its a theme that is external, that we see played out in the galaxy. & also internal that we experiance as the character, their conflict... Being the child of powerful wizards, growing up among students of the Force, & being cutoff from it.

Eventually the True Sith return to recliam their world & glory. True Pureblood non-force users, who have come to disbise the forcewielders & seek to rid the galaxy of them all. Your character sees the enclave destroyed, & is seperated from Bastila & the others, suddenly finding theselves in the middle of a war. But the Sith arn't hunting you, so its up to you to rally support from wherever you can. Not an easy task, public sentiments are largely favorable to the Sith. & the Republic may be on the brink of joining their cause!

& thats all I got for now, hopefully this thread will grow & there will be some cool posts to read.

Here's my idea for an opening:

From the opening credits (a bioware production yadda yadda) you just hear some crashing around (like small machinery be pushed over), a tough voice speaks, "Where's the droid!?"
Someone who is scared responds, "It's right over there!"
[small explosion in background]
A soft, male voice interjects, "I found it, this is the one, hey there little buddy."
Tough voice, "Did you wipe it yet?!"
Scared voice, "N-no, not yet!"
Soft voice again, but now quite stern, "Relax Dag, we've got it. Go wait outside and make sure the LZ is clear. And take him with you, this place is going to be dust in a few minutes."
Footsteps leaving the room.
Soft voice starts, "Let's open you up. What's this?"

From a black screen, all you see is a flickering blue hologram, unclear at first who it is of. Lots of static, but then it clears up and you hear this,

"Ok, come on, how do you- yes, fine, I'll get you Coruscant you stupid trash com- just do this one last thing for me..."
*Beeps*
It's clear now the hologram is of Atton.
"I know this is a long shot, but Sunny, if you are still out there, I know this droid will get to you...somehow. You need to come back, they are back. I think they wanted you out of the picture, that's why the witch told you what she did. I'll do what I can, but we need you here now more than ever. I need you. I lo-"
[nearby explosion, hologram cuts out]
the soft voice was Bao-dur, "Let's get you out of here. All your systems are good- "
*beep - be - deep*
"Of course, I didn't exect anything less. Come on let's go."

[btw, everything in this scene is from t3's perspective]

[both exit the small building, the setting appears to be some urban environment on a barren type world, wreckage everyhere, lasers, debris, explosions]

Dag, "Commander, this zone is too hot, the LZ is now down the street, but we can't lose this ground!"
Bao-dur, "Then hold it, I'll help."
Dag, "But the droid! It's the primary obj-"
BD, "It'll make it, it's been through worse."
Dag, "I'm taking your word on it."
BD, "That's an order, not my word. Team, hold the position, nothing's getting past here, nothing! See you later, little buddy."

This is where the game tutorial begins (once again with t3). Difusing mines, fighting a few bad guys, etc.

t3 gets to the new LZ.

Republic soldiers pick him up and carry him aboard the gunship.

Onboard lieutenant speaks into communicator, "Commander, we have the droid, we are heading your way."
BD over comm, "No, you have it, run!"
Lieutenant, "No, we have time."
BD, "If you can spare another ship, send it, otherwise, get out of here. That's an order."
L, "Y-yes, sir."

[ship takes off, but gets shot down within the first few seconds]
as it's falling, the lieutenant yells out, "Any who survive meet up with Agent Mikaso!"
[crash, cut to black]

[in the darkness, you hear a distorted voice, hard to discern who or what it is]
"I need you to run a diagnostic, what do you see?"

{{player chooses race, gender, and appearance of their character}}

the voice is clear and defined now, as well as facial features, "what else?"

{{t3 observes the armour, player chooses class, could be anything from scoundrel to jedi. As well, choosing certain feats will determine what your starting equipment is (for instance, choosing jedi and two-handed weapon proficiency will start you with a double-bladed lightsaber)}}

"Ok, things are good. The name's Mikaso, I'm gonna get you out of here."

[start game as Mikaso]

---I'd write more, but I'm about to go into an exam---

Edit:

So in summary, We've brought back some big characters, hinted at what their positions have become over the years, implied that something is threatening the galaxy (but we don't know what...), hinting that the story of the exile didn't end with the exile (Kreia's final move was to get the exile out of the picture and away from the galaxy so the sith/empire could storm thorugh without interference) and her companions are still fighting for some side (republic, maybe sith, maybe for themselves). This intro opens up a world of possibilities.

I haven't had time to think up continuation to my starting idea, but something I would like to see (even if it's just a Butcher-Bay of Kotor 1) is unique companion abilities. Yes, they had unique feats, but something noticeable in combat would be cool. For instance, Bao dur had his repulsor strike and Juhani has stealth. What if in a revamp Carth had a passive that boosted everyone's saves or Bastila had a kick-ass version of battle meditation?

Any ways, I'll post back here with more story ideas for K3 once I have more free time.

if there is a Kotor 3, I want a Ewok, Jawa and Besalisk. All three of them gets lightsabers.

http://browse.devian...di ewok#/du03gn Ewok

http://deathscepter....t.com/#/d4vip1e Besalisk

http://deathscepter....t.com/#/d490yva Jawa

And Mr Arg, it is alright to have good synergy between your Kotor 1 Remake and Kotor 3 ideas.

For example, In One of my kotor 1 Remake Ideas is a Tyria Adept named Sergreg. Sergreg and Bastila has a bit of a good history with each other. In my kotor 3 idea, your Revan can encourage Bastila and Sergreg to start dating. Within my ideas, I am keeping Canon that Bastila gotten pregant and Satele Shan and Bastila Shan are relatives. Other than that, I am using loose canon to make my ideas work.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but wasn't it implied that Revan and Bastila did fall in love? Making Satele a descendant of Revan as well? Just remembering back to things like the holocrons and Bastila's ring from K2.

that is true, Mr Arg. Well Not everyone has a male Revan or has fallen inlove with Bastila. So this will allows for an out while keeping canon Bastila/Satele relationship canon.

Can Revan still be related to Satele within my Kotor 3 idea? Yes. Does it allow for other player's Revan to no be inlove with Bastila or be male? YES.

I am working on how to work in the Ewok Jedi, Besalisk Jedi and Jawa Jedi. Also for the token Innocent, Kaevee of Kotor 2 Cut Content might make an appearance as well.

the Besalisk would a Jedi Guardian/Jedi Battle Master. with Besalisk Jedi Battle Master Gear Set.

Oh I know, I did not mean to shoot down your ideas in any way, I was just wondering if you were going with the traditional canon or the possible alternate canon (Revan as female). Good to hear your story can account for both :)

also i am considering that Revan as a Male didn't do a romance with Bastila as well. Yes within my Kotor 3 ideas, Other than chapter 2, there will be at least 1 heterosexual romance per gender in the entire game.

Chapter 2 does deal with the Mandalorian Wars and Revan's past a bit, I am taking Kotor 2 as higher canon. Arren Kae, Jedi Exile(female), Seviole(Revan's former Padawan turned Jedi Knight and she is fanon) are for Heterosexual Romance for Male Revan. Atton is one of the romances for the Female Revan and Possible Malak for the Female Revan romance.

In the Intro for my Kotor 3, it will make no mention that Revan is alive or him killing Malak. It does say that a team of Jedi freed Bastila and Defeat Darth Malak.

As for Kotor 1 romances, you are not shoehorned into them regardless of gender. It is possible to re start them if you want too.

Seviole, one of my personal favorite fanon Lady Jedi Sentinel, I don't want her to over shine other characters. She will be in many of the chapters and there will be at least 3 new characters(a Ewok Shaman, Jawa and Besliak Jedi Battle Master) Of course, Hk-47, T3-M4, and Canderous will return as playable characters.

Well I do want a scene of Revan and Satele Shan that is both of a tearjerker and A heartwarming moment. Just say, one of the lines is that, " Bas....Bastila is that you?" Satele Shan turns around and replies, "No I am not her but I am related to her." Revan replies back, "You look like her like in the vid of the achives."

My theme of my Kotor 3 is more of Revan being a ghost. Revan is the short of Revenant. Revenant is an undead spirit/creature that returns to complete unfinished business.

Updated Summaries

Chapter 1: From the shadow, Revan sees that everyone on his team happy while uncovering a political plot to kill them all. At least 1 humor scene of Canderous and Revan at Bastila's Wedding(regardless whom you set Bastila up with) Ends at the Library.

Chapter 2: Research the Jedi Exile. Remember the Mandalorians Wars. Plays key segments of the Mandalorians Wars. Meets both Kreia and Arren Kae talking to each other. a Tearjerker of Jedi Exile and Revan parting ways after Revan cuts Malak's jaw off.

Chapter 3: Revan helps Canderous by visiting the edge of the galaxy and gives Canderous the location of the Mandalore the Ulimate Mask. Visits Korriban with Seviole and the droids. Meets a Besliak Jedi Battle Master. Recruits him. Go Tatioone picks up a Jawa. Then Goes to Endor and picks up a Ewok.

No matter what, if there is a kotor 3, there should be loose canon that is respectful to player choice. As much as I want Revan to be In Kotor 3 and Revan be retcon out of TOR, having a good Kotor 3 is more important than what I want.

To compliment my previous post, due to there are specialization within each class. There should be 1 passive Feat Tree that levels up with you that is reflective of that class. Then if the player wants too, branch out into the specializations, they can do that. All classes should have plenty of flexiblity.

Like in the Kotor 1 remake thread, I do want martial arts, Lightsaber forms and Force forms.

Well to compliment my ideas about Intro of Kotor 3.

Revan alone in his/her room, with a blaster pistol slowly remembering his/her past. The room is quite dark, reflective of Revan's mood and being in the lower city of Coursant(msp).

Seeing Revan cutting Malak's jaw off after he tries to kill Jedi Exile.

I posted this on Lucasarts forums, but noticed now there is a separate community here. It is how I would have liked to have seen Kotor 3. Not a polished outline, just some rough ideas. It ignores SW:TOR and the novel Revan (for the most part at least).

I would like as little canon is used as possible. I refer to Revan as "he" for simplicity, but "she" is just as valid. Any romance is flagged, and plays a part in the story.

 - Revan is getting accustomed to life again, and slowly begins to recover some memories.

- He recalls the existence of the emperor, realises he needs to be stopped.

- He is tormented by visions of a potential future, showing him imprisoned by the emperor (i.e. the future outlined in SW:TOR/Revan). This point marks the break with the current story, but still references it and uses it as a plot device.

- Due to his glimpse of the dark potential future, he realises that travelling alone will end in tragedy. Needs to gather allies.

- Travels to recruit old comrades, and powerful people in the galaxy who may be sympathetic.

- Travels to the Jedi Council to ask for their aid. This causes major problems.
(1) Some have not forgiven him for starting the war.
(2) If he romanced Bastila, more are angry at the loss of one of the most promising Jedis.
(3) More importantly, Revan before the council, asking for aid in a non-sanctioned endeavour is a horrible reminder of how the Jedi Civil War started.
Possibly an option here to take some supportive Jedi, but at the cost of infuriating the council, and being disowned by them.

- Once recruitment is completed to the player's satisfaction, the party travels to the outer rim.

- Memories continue to return, shown in flashbacks when revisiting a place where Darth Revan had previously been.

- Battles with the true Sith.

- Eventually makes it to the emperor's base. Good chance to lose party members, depending on choices made here and previously. Can defeat emperor. Possible option to side with (replace?) the emperor.

- Returns from the outer rim to republic space. Possibly as a pariah - no one realises what he has done except the Jedi, and the Jedi potentially have disowned him even if it was a LS path.

[Some scenes (e.g. Jedi council) would have to be altered/replaced for a DS Revan, but that would not create insurmountable difficulties].

Sadly, I don't think it is going to happen...

For the DS Revan, why would he ever talk the Jedi Council or Leave his Dark Lord status behind?

Whom are the romance options outside of Carth and Bastila?

How is the Jedi Exile involved?

What is Revan's Relationship to the Sith Emperor? Did the Sith Emperor force him to be a Sith Lord? or did he fall on his own similar to Kotor 1/2 and become a Sith Lord? Did He meet the Sith Emperor during the Mandalorian Wars? Did He just learn about him from Malachor 5?

Good questions. As I said this is just some rough plot points, the ideas are not fully formed, so bear with me.

(1) DS Revan: Yes, DS Revan would not talk to the council. That scene would need to be replaced. I don't think he would need to give up Dark Lord status. As DS instead of stopping the emperor to save the galaxy, it is to take his place.

(2) I imagine mostly new characters for single Revan's. Maybe the Exile (see below). I never heard of Seviole, but a former padawan would make for great interactions - I like that idea.

(3) the point where Revan travels looking for allies is flexible enough to include whoever you want. the Exile could be one of those.

(4) I would say he has faced the emperor during the Mandalorian Wars, but I would play down any suggestion that he was "forced" to be a Sith Lord.

Anyway as I said I found a number of your idea is interesting, and I would support it so long as it is as tolerant as possible of other people's playthroughs. (i.e. as little canon as possible). The different races of jedi's is another thing that would be neat. Where do you see yours ending?

Seviole is my creation, she is just a fanon character. She is a pretty dark character but she is redeemable. Right now, I am working within my head how to have good synergy between Kotor 1, 2 and 3.

So with my ideas, Revan doesn't visit the Sith Emperor but At Malachor 5, he prepares For the True Sith Empire.

In my head, Kotor 3 doesn't paint the Republic in a pretty picture due to political corruption.

Yes, regarding the SIth Emperor, I can understand wanting to remove the the meeting. I was just planning to tone it down and make the event less deterministic, but I would not object to a re-write.

No problems with a corrupt republic. It makes it seem more believable that people would considering siding with the Sith.

with the More corrupt Republic, It doesn't need influence by the Sith. It is the nature of politics to be bit self serving. Also in my head, there was a leak about the Ebon Hawk's crew mates for the Golden Kotor 1 Revan is dead ending and a few Jedi Masters and Few Senators wants to capture the Ebon Hawk and her Kotor 1 crew.

In the Kotor 1(regardless of the special edition or not), no matter what you do, someone is going to have a grudge against Revan due to him being a sith lord and all. In the gold Kotor 1 Special Edition, Revan is dead at large. And the Rest of the Ebon Hawk team and Republic Forces can enjoy their victory without him. Revan, Canderous, Hk-47, T3-M4 and Seviole walks away from them and disappear. Yes it supposed to be a bittersweet ending.

T3-M4 in Kotor 3, is a go between them and the rest of the team. Yes Revan has T3-M4 to spy on them and sometimes help them out in money department.

In my version of Kotor 3, it will be quite dark. Act 1 you will be fighting Republic forces,Bounty hunters and Jedi. Sith Inflirators from True Sith Empire influenced their darker natures to hunt and kill the Ebon Hawk Kotor 1 team. Of Course there will be side quests.

I like your idea of a darker galaxy, but you know what...in my opinion, those details can be ironed out once the basics are more palatable.

My main, main, main point would be "no canon". Please please please no canon. And whatever canon has been imposed - retcon it. This may just be a pipe-dream, but I think a lot of people feel the same way.

I don't know why canon is needed. Is it a Star Wars thing? Because in fairness Bioware are normally really good about not imposing canon on players. They know how important that is. That is one reason (out of many others) why I have always enjoyed Bioware games.

having Loose canon is a good thing. For example, It is canon that Revan is an LS ending Male. So it would be a good idea have A Kotor 1 Special Edition to have more variety to play with in Kotor 3.

For Example, IF you have At Large: Revan is alive and kills Darth Malak, then you will have negative results including a bounty on your head. If At Large: Revan is dead, you as Revan will have an easier time avoiding bounty hunters and rescue your Ebon Hawk Crew, from Jedi, Republic Bounty Hunter, Republic Black Ops. within my version of Kotor 3, the Dantioone Jedi Council using Revan as an assassin to Kill Darth Malak was against the Jedi Council's wishes. And Between Revan and Seviole Infilirate the Jedi Order to save Bastila, Jolee and Juhani while avoiding them and other jedi suspecting you.

Well with my ideas, some how I want to include the Geohardan and they become a playable factions. They help you to find and elimate several corrupt Jedi, Politicans and generally bad people.

Canderous is a part of your crew regardless and same with Hk-47 and T3-M4 are back. Well if there was a Kotor 1 Special Edition, it should explain Revan's relationship with Seviole and their mutunal history a bit(it will be a loose canon). Yes there are sidequest relating to her and the Exchange. Keep in mind, Seviole is a very dark character and she does have some good in her. So Her storyarch can work into Kotor 3 as well as in Kotor 1.
