Since DA2 didn't even get that expansion, how do we know that DA3 will get one?
How long will DA3 be supported for?

Depends on if it they do it right and it's a success like DAO, or they do it wrong and it flops like DA2.

DA2 technically didn't flop - It sold well. But the reaction to the story was largely negative

We don't know how long the game will be supported. If it sells well I'm sure they'll create more content for the game. Otherwise... well, they'll go the Dragon Age ][ route and stop any development and focus on the next thing. Time will tell.

It will be supported for as long as Bioware thinks doing so will be profitable. It's hard even to guess without the actual game being available.
