I don't really see why this should bother any man who is comfortable with himself and his manhood / level of masculinity. I can only assume, OP, that you are somehow threatened by women being strong, powerful, commanding and yet graceful forces. It's amazing what a woman can do when she puts her mind to it, let alone what she would be able to do given the proper training and fitness regime.

Sexist and ignorant. No change here then.

What's this about? Women wearing armour and fighting is unrealistic?

This is Katie Taylor, she's 26 and already has fourteen gold medals under her belt. Your aguement is irrelevant, not to mention sexist and just plain stupid.

I agree I thought all the sexist people were gone during the late 90s but whatever.

OP, I'm sure BioWare will take your request into consideration. And deny it.

But there are plenty of other games out there for you to choose from! Hold your wallet!

Is she in the same league with men, so to say?

Would be rather extraordinary if a woman would not get medals when fighting against other women. So I really can't - not even to the best of my ability - understand how a woman could not get medals or how is that a woman can wear boxing gloves related to women's ability to use heavy plate armour and two-handed sword without becoming useless wannabe when league is full contact against men of similar training and not training room or high fantasy setting.

If you think that picture proofs what you want, then I say just GZ. In your world all what is needed is good wishful thinking :o

Actually I will hold my wallet. I have noticed that RP games which don't have too detailed graphics are awesome. Just go back in time about 20 years and every game will do. It is back to the roots when we imagined how the chars are instead of being spoonfed of ****.

I feel like making a female berserker wearing plate and using a greatsword in DA3 now. I do not know why, except for that it is a fantasy game and can make my character how I want.

Of all the problems I have with Dragon Age, Aveline/Cassandra/Meredith/Female Warden/Female Hawke in heavy armor aren't among them.

I can only recommend you to not consider a degree in psychology - you show no talent towards it.

Now, a woman can do this and that, but a woman can't compete in sports in the same league with men. If people would not be divided in Olympics based on gender you would not see any women in Olympics.

In RPGs, because of the high fantasy setting, you see women being physically competent.

This is a fact and no amount of yelling nor wishful thinking does not change it. You are being fanserved to very high fantasy. So shut up, will you.

So, if in your fantasy world it makes perfect sense for women to wear heavy plate etc., then good for you I guess. In my fantasy world women don't do that, and I don't have to feel sorry because of that. On the other hand, I can play those kiddies games too. So the problem for me is not so big as you think.

Putting a fake mustache on Cassandra would ruin my immersion, too, OP. I stand with you in your objection to fake mustaches on Cassandra.

Image IPB Yeah, I'm with you on this. That would really throw me off.

edit: My actual opinion = thread is nuts. A legitimate arguement would be that weapons in DA2 are a bit over-sized in general.

Whether or not moilami thinks he has a point here or not, one thing is certain: No developer at BioWare is going to listen to his argument for more time than it takes to laugh and close the window.

Thedas was conceived and designed as egalitarian from the start.

So nobody else need worry.

I am dead serious in that women can't compete physically against men. If you disagree, then you have maybe played too much video games and forgot totally how the world is in real :P

I am serious in that too that please don't make as ridiculous characters as the woman whose picture I posted on the OP is. Or if you do, please give us a choise to chose

[dialogue wheel - wakeup call]
- what is this ****? Do you think I tell you something? Hahahahahahaha. I tell you nothing. You tell me everything. Now bend over you dirty **** and you get what is best for you.

Not saying that women should be on the kitchen and all the rest....BUT if DA3 is set in a medieval time it would have sense not to see fighting womans since historically there were not at that time. But i guess we don't want historical accuracy of genders here. TW was really a masterpiece on that regard and  the only womans fighting there were exceptions.

Generally, when you're trying to go on what I assume is a sexist rant of some kind, being comprehensible is looked upon as a plus by some. Not by me, though; it's easier to point and laugh this way.

Citing The Witcher as a "masterpiece" on how to approach gender in fiction is my cue to bail on this thread because it's far too silly.

And that's saying something, considering it started with a picture ripped from the Support Mustaches in DA3 thread.
