The name moilami was familiar to me, so I did some searching for any previous interactions I've had with him and discovered some evidence as to precisely how much armor he would find acceptable on a woman in his fantasies:

Now you are sarcastically supposing that I would had been trying to convince you - and again I can say it is not true for I have next to zero interest to discuss with you much less convince anything to you.

(I have told you before you are in my "blocked" list, and that means I have no interest to discuss with you. Got a clue?)

If you aren't interested in having a discussion with me then don't use my name as preface to your nonsense.  And it may be stereotyping but it's really hard for me to take a guy who has two naked female toons in his player profile andwrites Isabela as a giggling schoolgirl in childish, self-indulgent vignettes as some kind of master of rhetoric.

But hey, I'll definitely respect your wishes to stay away from you on the forums from now on.  That I've got no problem with.

The answer is none.  Oh look, they're still there, and it looks like he's even added more since.  Fancy that.

I am not sure what I have thought when I have unblocked you. Must have some kind of momentary lapse of reason. Will probably have to put you back on your place.

Anyways I wont do it since you made me remember I have still to do naked run on "insanity" difficulty level.

But yes, those chars have enough clothes. If Aveline can wear plate and fight like a man then they surely have enough clothes even though my charc could be played as fanatical nudists, and huh, they would still make more sense than Aveline or the chick whose picture is on the OP.

If you are not afraid of naked people I recommend you to do a full naked run. Cinematics are tons of fun when your team does not dress properly.

I think the Cassandra character was very well done I think there was a romance li thread around here some where about her which would be interesting. I didn't really connect with Aveline ..but that is more of an exception than a rule I like the idea of female warriors.

Gender is irrelevant.

If a woman is conditioned to fight and if her body is conditioned to bear heavy armour, then that is exactly what she will do. Women have fought in varying armours, with various weapons, all through-out history and they have been openly accepted by the cultures that allowed them to bear arms, they were also respected by the men that they fought beside.

The only reason Thedas would be any different is because of modern day social prejudices.

Please stop OT.

Unnecessary Knowledge: I had Daveth, Ser Jory, and my manly noble dwarf Warden do the Joining naked.

I like to think my noble dwarf hung out with Oghren.

He hung out, or he "hung out"?

I don't really see why this should bother any man who is comfortable with himself and his manhood / level of masculinity. I can only assume, OP, that you are somehow threatened by women being strong, powerful, commanding and yet graceful forces. It's amazing what a woman can do when she puts her mind to it, let alone what she would be able to do given the proper training and fitness regime.

Sexist and ignorant. No change here then.

I can only recommend you to not consider a degree in psychology - you show no talent towards it.

Now, a woman can do this and that, but a woman can't compete in sports in the same league with men. If people would not be divided in Olympics based on gender you would not see any women in Olympics.

In RPGs, because of the high fantasy setting, you see women being physically competent.

This is a fact and no amount of yelling nor wishful thinking does not change it. You are being fanserved to very high fantasy. So shut up, will you.

So, if in your fantasy world it makes perfect sense for women to wear heavy plate etc., then good for you I guess. In my fantasy world women don't do that, and I don't have to feel sorry because of that. On the other hand, I can play those kiddies games too. So the problem for me is not so big as you think.

You're telling me to "shut up"? How eloquent, OP. Really. Particularly as I wasn't shouting nor being aggressive. That's you.
But your whole response is just a bunch of senseless rambling... <_<

If you don't want your women to wear plate armor in the games you play then I highly suggest you stop playing fantasy RPG games. And as it goes, you seem to be one of only a handful of people that has a problem with what armor women wear. You also don't seem to have even the smallest grasp of what women throughtout history have been able to do and how "physically competent" they can be in relation to men.

How about you do some research before you start telling people to shut up?

Interesting little read of reasoning if nothing else

Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "submit to the taint".

I've noticed that the OP has also ignored my statement about Joan of Arc in regards to real-life women wearing armor.

So what should all game-women fighters wear according to you?

Maybe they could have a role in a brutal version of mud wrestling where you could bet who wins a'la Dragon Quest III. Or in certain scenarios women in general could be used as cannon fodder.

They hardly need clothes for either.

If you are still unsure what they should wear please check it from my profile.

It's a well established fact that all men not named Alistair need to be naked from the ruined warden tower to the Joining. Also, both non-Alistair comapnions in the tower of Ishal need to disrobe as soon as the ogre dies.

ITT: moilami doubles down on his argument that women presented as anything other than sex objects are immersion breaking for his fantasies.

It's kinda like imagining him playing blackjack and confidently saying "hit me" to the dealer until the deck runs out.

Unless one is unusually gifted in that regard, it typically takes a fair amount of work.

I think I can clarify the OP.  This male op is trapped in the past where females look like this in games
