Can we have a character or a build who uses a bastard sword (can be used with one or two hands)? It would allow a flexible but powerful character who occasionally uses his second hand for extra punch.

As it is, "bastar sword" as you're referring to it is the 19th Century version, the "hand-and-a-half sword" where one hand or both were used to wield it like a two-handed sword but not as long, which was the medieval european longsword. By that time, swords were pretty much all one-handed weapons anyway after the Renaissance.

Now this is a nice request! Take notice of this rather than focussing on making everyone have a bisexual love story.

Thanks. I realize people want expanded romance options, but this isn't exactly a love simulator.M25105 wrote...

OP, thank you for sneaking into my brain and stealing my thoughts when i was too lazy and apathetic to make a thread myself.
I rarely see bastard swords in my favourite RPG's.

I like this idea alot.
When my DnD group was running our 3.5 Iron Heroes campaign, I designed a Weapon Master around using a bastard sword, both one and two-handed styles. Gameplay-wise, he was probably my favorite character. I would love to see something like that implemented visually.
