So I've been playing quite happily (aside from a few random crashes), but this evening, right as wynne was getting her new spell during a cutscene, my game crashed. Now, every time I try to load a saved game, or start a new one, i get a crash to the desktop within a few seconds of the loading screen appearing.

This is the error message that win7 gives me:

Haven't been able to find any log file with more info yet, but I'll keep looking. Uninstalling / reinstalling the game has not allowed me to start a new game. Copying my save files in to the new install hasn't worked, not using dlc or mods hasn't worked, and neither has a system restore.

I have no idea what the hell is going on, but there is, apparently, nothing I can do to get DA:O started again.

My system specs are:

Intel core i5-750 with a big-ass zalman cooler on it,
msi radeon 5770,
4gb OCZ Ultra ddr3-2133 ram,
SB X-Fi Xtreme,
windows 7 x64,
coolermaster 650w ps.

If anyone's got any ideas or tips, I'd appreciate them. I'm only about 30% of the way through the game and I'd hate to be locked out permanently now.
