Well, know that we know that we have quite the wait before us before DA 3 comes out, why don't will kill some time by replaying the DA series from the start.

I've already started a city elf rogue playthrough. I think it would quite fun for people to post their play through here and what decisions they've made during the game.

Why city elf? Because I just love that starting adventure of saving your woman and killing that vile noble pig. I usually play DW warrior but I'll switch it up with a Rogue Duelist/Assassin this time.

I've just gone through the city elf origins quest. Ah, killing Vaughan never gets old. It is my favorite origin for a reason. ;)

My problem with DA:O is that somewhere along either the Mage or Dwarf quests I become unbelievably bored and want to quit. I shall persevere however.

I just finished a male human mage playthrough for Origins (still working on Awakening).

I still hate playing the mage tower levels. The Deep Roads segment during A Paragon of her Kind still bores me to tears, but I can tough it out. It's good to interact with Morrigan again.

All in all... Origins isn't as awesome as I remember. Still a good game and worth some more replays, but I see now that my nostalgia goggles have fogged my view.

Thats odd, I really love the mage tower and deep roads, and the elven ruins. I do use the skip the fade mod mostly because it takes too long. But I love the creep feel of a demon infested mage tower. And when you reach the Dead Trenches and fight across that huge bridge. That was epic. I always do the Dwarf quests last so at that point there has been a distinct lack of darkspawn so its quite nice to finally fight through hordes of them.

Yeah. DA:O moves at a much slower pace for story elements. Too many fetch/gather/kill quests and lots and lots of chests and mobs in between conversations.

I get bored during the Fade quest more than anything. Worst mission in DA:O imo

I agree, the city elf origin is awesome. Im playing a female city elf at the moment, and I think this is actually even better! Im trying to crate the perfect save file for DA3
These are the decisions i wil do for origins:

-Side with mages/templars (the emissary says both are ready to fight, but you only get mages)
- Preserve the urn of sacred ashes
- Destroy the anvil
- Make Harrowmonth king
- Cure the werewolves
- Saved Connor and Isolde (Jowan redeemed himself)

Kill Flemeht (I think her scenes/involment in DA2 makes more sense this way)
Recruited all companions/played all dlc
Killed Avernus and  Sophia Dryden

Romanced Alistair and Leliana, continue with Alistair.
Make Alistair king, make him fight and kill Loghain
Make Aistair do the dark ritual with Morrigan

Awakening:
Save Amaranthine( The vigil holds)
Make Nathaniel warden
Side with the Arcitecht

Witch hunt:
Im not too sure here, but i think i`ll might attack Morrigan. It`S a cool scene!

As for DA2, im not sure yet. I like Bethany, I don`t want her killed. Last time I made her a Warden and sided with the templars, but this time I want to see her join the circle and side with the mages. What is the best choice in your opinion?

I just recently started a fresh playthrough on PC! I'm a female human mage romancing Zevran, and will be a female warrior with Hawke romancing Sebastian. As I like playing as nice people I usually go with the good decisions. I already have all playthroughs done on my Xbox 360. There I'm a female noble rogue that's married to Alistair. My Hawke is a mage that romanced Anders.

It was a long time ago since I played Origins... and I really enjoy replaying it again.

I am planning on starting a new playthrough of the entire DA series as an evil character. I haven't ever done a full completionist evil playthrough of the DA series, so it is something I have been thinking about for a while.

I've been considering starting a new DA:O playthrough and following it into DA2, but my "not this again" problem isn't the Fade (which I actually love), it's Orzammar/the Deep Roads. Political intrigue drives me batty, and the Deep Roads are too bloody long. So as much as I enjoy playing through various other portions of DA:O, I have a great many games stalled just outside the gates of Orzammar . . . Why can't there be a "skip the Deep Roads" mod like there's a "skip the Fade" mod? XD I'd have completed a hell of a lot more playthroughs by now!

@Eilaras, re: Bethany. IMO, the best choice for Bethany is honestly the Circle. She's much happier there than in the Wardens, because what she wants is to be normal - and in the Circle, she is. Some people would disagree with me, but to me it's pretty obvious from the game that she's much more content in the Circle.

I'm trying a new playthrough with some decisions I never usually roll with. Sort of a "no compromise" playthrough.

Origins:
- Romance Leliana (Unhardened)
- Sacrafice Isolde to save Connor
- Side with Mages
- Preserve the Urn
- Side with the Werewolves
- Side with Bhelen (Although Destroy the Anvil)
- Alistair to become King (And kill Loghain)
- Act out the Dark Ritual
- "Kill" Flemeth
- Spare Avernus/Kill Sophia
- Recruit everyone
- Zevran's betrayal

Awakening:
- Save Amarathine (With a fully upgraded Keep)
- Kill the Architect
- Recruit everyone and turn them into Wardens

Witch Hunt:
- Allow Morrigan to continue her plans

Letting Bethany join the circle makes her happier, she hates being a Warden. But you must side with mages then otherwise you break her heart.

Carver loves being a Warden though. In his case Warden is the best path

Agreed.
I think, perhaps, as games evolve, so do we, the more we play,  and some that were epic lose their luster. I used to LOVE Final Fantasy (1-7). Now, I can get through any one of them without severe willpower.
I can't believe I'm saying this but... I think I prefer DA2. Kill me.

Me neither. I actually just started an Elven mage, and I was considering making him evil, but I decided I'd wait. I'll have to eventually though.
